It was fun watching the chefs prepare the dishes. We felt like we were watching Top Chef. Great atmosphere. We had a variety of tapas, all excellent. We had the Pork skewer marinade Moorish style, the smoked Iberian top shoulder pastrami bun, grilled pork belly roll, the lamb "pincho" oaxaca, and white wine. The most interesting item was the lamb "pincho". We were told to eat it from the bottom. The top had a chocolate syrup. It was a combination of savory and sweet. We really liked it! I really wanted to try the braised scallop, but was pretty full by then. In fact, we gave some of the pork skewer to our friends who were at the next table. For tapas, it's on the pricey side, but the taste, quality, culinary experience and presentation outweighed the prices. The staff was friendly and helpful when we were looking through the menu. If we ever get back to Salamanca, I would definitely dine here again.

Ordered the spring salad came with tuna, from a can, a bit disappointing. The squid with white rice was interesting. The tentacles of the squid were tucked into the squid. It was a really good meal. I had a friend who ordered it too, later, and agreed it was quite good. I had a bite of both the steak and lamb chops. Both were incredibly good. The seasoning on both and tenderness made it. Way better than my meal :) I really wouldn't mind going back for either. The eggplant vegetable plate was so good. I'm not a big eggplant fan but wow! Also came with a tomato, peppers, and onion. The seasoning was mouth-watering. Definitely give them a try.

The watermelon salad did not say that it came with chunks of salmon on it, so FYI if you order that. Pick a spot show was huge and very good. The order of croquettes is probably meant for three or four people, and for two people there were too many of them we couldn't eat them all. We shared a monk fish main plate after all that and it was also very tasty. The potatoes were a little plain that came with it but otherwise really good. Service was OK, it was very difficult to get the waiters attention when we finally wanted to leave and even after asking for the check.
