**5 Stars Lunch at Toro Toro Delivers, Again**…read more Lunch at Toro Toro was amazing. $18 for the buffet is honestly a steal, but the real story is the service; which is exactly what we've come to expect here. Five stars all around. From the moment we pulled up, Jackelyn and the fellas at valet were sweet and attentive. Our server Catalina was fantastic, and Kimberley and Eva made sure we were looked after the entire time. We also had the pleasure of meeting Chef Julio, who gave us a preview of the upcoming August menu, we're genuinely excited for it! We're already planning to bring the whole family back for their Bottomless Brunch in the next few weeks. If you haven't been, go!

Went there this past weekend for brunch and Initially we went to try their bottomless brunch…read more Thinking for something to be called "bottomless" you'd expect plenty of options NOPE! Now you'd think with a restaurant to have a small menu that they would master their craft and serve your an amazing meal NOPE! Thankfully we didn't go with the absurd $70 price point and instead we decided to order à la carte. I ordered the chicken and waffles and I'll tell u if I spent $70 to be served that dish I would be f*ckin pissed! Not only was my food cold when it arrived. The tenders they used looks like straight out of a Tyson chicken box from Walmart. We joked sonic had the same tenders. Now you'd would think they at least knew how to heat up the chicken (see cold food comment above) NOPE! My chicken was legitimately raw! Whooooo TF serves up raw chicken in such an expensive restaurant??? Which is potentially DEADLY btw! I had such high expectations of this place seeing it was in the heart of downtown Fort Worth and with how amazing dinner looks from the pictures I assumed I was in for a treat for brunch too but I was gravely mistaken. The first red flag should've been how slow it was there were barely any people there. But we decided to give it a try anyways. Fortunately enough I got away with having to only pay $30 for my Tyson raw chicken and waffles and an upset stomach. Will never recommend this place or come here again. Ambiance 7/10 Service 5/10 Brunch 1/10 literally inedible

Our takeout container was filled with a variety of papusas, tamales, empanadas, and yuca. The pricing is super affordable so feel free to stock up! Between three of us, we didn't even dent our order and will be eating off our meal for days. I'm not upset about. The stand out entrees for me were the jalapeño and cheese papusa and beef empanada. I wasn't super into the tamales. The chicken tamale had some fatty pieces of meat and a half of a potato- which I wasn't expecting. The salsas were not what I was expecting, but I enjoyed trying them. The green-ish salsa is SUPER HOT. They have online ordering, but we had issues picking up our order and had to reorder at the counter. It wasn't a big deal at all - and super worth it for the delicious and affordable food. I can't wait to come back and try more things!!

This place is a hidden gem !…read more I was craving pupusas during my stay in Fort Worth. There was a small selection of authentic Salvadorian food near me. The other restaurants did not have appetizing pictures of their pupusas. I placed an order over the phone for two people. I ordered 6 pupusas revueltas & tried their plantains with cajeta. I was told it was going to take about 15 -20 min. I arrived and they had the table reserved for us , plus they were very quick to bring out the food. I also purchased two drinks and everything was less than $25. We were not able to finish all the food since they fill you up; we were also very pleased with their customer service. The pupusas were very well made, they are the perfect thickness. They are a good size & are fully stuffed. The plantains were delicious, I highly recommend purchasing some. If you are looking for authentic Salvadoran food , I highly recommend this place. I also recommend ordering ahead of time & reserving a table. When I arrived the place looked very full.

Gloria's has been an all-time favorite of ours for years. We've seen servers come and go, but…read morethey've remained remarkably consistent with their recipes and food standards. They've adapted through COVID and the many fluctuations of the economy, yet they always seem to bring us back with our favorite menu items. Today, I enjoyed the Pollo con Champiñones, and it did not disappoint. The creamy sauce, served with an ample serving of mushrooms, was absolutely delicious. The food is always beautifully plated and visually appealing, but it's the flavors that really seal the deal! We also enjoyed their half-price bottles of wine and had a flight of juices for mimosas, which was awesome. The restaurant is consistently clean, as are the restrooms, which is always appreciated. Our service was a little slow today, but the manager, Omero, stepped in and took great care of us. If you haven't given Gloria's a try, do yourself a favor and stop in. Give it some time, explore the menu, and I think you'll come to appreciate Gloria's as much as we do, as a true staple of the Fort Worth dining experience!

The server definitely made the night a little less enjoyable. After we were seated, we waited about 15 minutes before anyone came over to take care of us. Right from the get go I'm going to appeal to all my fellow Yelpers and my Fort Worth Yelp Elite squad to please give Los Girasoles a chance and soon if you can, this is a completely family run restaurant and they are struggling to keep going. I stopped in for lunch on around Noon and there was only one other table with customers which is hard to understand considering they offer several good lunch special deals! I was greeted immediately and they brought out a big bowl of fresh chips and two salsa's a Rojo and a delicious Verde, I was off that day and decided to have a couple house margaritas on the rocks and they were fresh and delicious! I ordered the Flautas Barachas, 4 freshly fried chicken flautas in a delicious tomatillo sauce, they were clearly made and fried fresh to order and that tomatillo sauce was great. The sides of beans and rice seriously deserve their own props because with no exaggeration i can say these were the best I've had in town, the seasoning was so on point especially those beans! Right across the street or two other Mexican restaurants El Paseo and Mezcales and while Mezcales it's pretty good Los girasoles absolutely blows El Paseo out of the water and is better than mezcales as well. Do this family and yourself for a huge favor and don't miss out on this delicious authentic Mexican food at very reasonable prices!
