I am a frequent customer who thinks this place makes the best brunches in the neighborhood. When it comes to price/quality, this place is unbeatable. Some of the staff can come across as grumpy, but in a way it adds up to the feeling of familiarity that this local Moroccan croissanterie gives. The place is frequented by locals including a lot of second generation Moroccan emigrants. The reason is simple = great food + fast service + cheap prices.
Another highlight is the fruit juices - freshly prepared and for 5-6 euros a liter! In Amsterdam that is very reasonable. There is also a huge assortment of pastry ranging from French style to Moroccan and Mediterranean. They also have bread which is quite popular but I am not a big fan off.
In summary, if you are in the vicinity, hungry and do not feel like spending a lot of money, this place is highly advised! read more
