Very nice place! I had been visiting Pedralbes and wondered where I was going to eat, and lo and behold, we found this place right across the street as we left the monastery.
It's very comfortable - we ate on the terraza, but the interior looked very nice - and the food is excellent. They offer a "tapas menu" for tired history-lovers emerging from the museum, but you should ask for the carta and pick out some of the great things there. The tapas plate looked good, so you can't go wrong with it, but the rest of the menu, which is very traditional Catalan Spanish, has got some wonderful dishes.
Aiming other things, we had the best grilled rabbit ever! And I saw the waiter mixing the veal tartare for the next table and wished I'd ordered that - except that my rice dish was so good I really am glad I didn't miss it. Ask the staff if you need suggestions.
They have a good wine list, and the house white wine, a local wine named Perelada, is excellent. Desserts are all house made and are also excellent. Good, friendly service. read more
