The positive first: The lime mojito was probably the best I've had. The salsa is close to the best in Goldsboro. My son raved over his birria tacos. That was it... 3 things form the entire meal. The wait time from order to receiving food seemed a little long since there was less than a handful of people when we arrived. The guacamole was edible but not as good as it should be. My younger son and I asked for no cheese sauce on the kids burrito and he got it anyway. Tamales are hard to find and to get them with questionable looking ground beef and beans dumped on them was disappointing. They were okay once I scrapped that off. The refried beans were terrible. The rice was okay and the black beans tasted like they came strait from a can. The deal breaker is when the waiter came and told me he made a mistake. He proceeded to tell me he gave another table my ticket and flashed a signed ticket and proceeded to show me their tab that was almost $5 more and asked me if I would just pay their ticket. He kept saying something about him paying the $5 but he was not saying how and I was put on the spot. I asked him to remove a $2 item on that ticket and agreed just to get it over with. He should have reprinted my ticket and dealt with the mistake behind the scenes.

She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. The food was fantastic--the tacos were fresh, crispy, and packed with flavor, the rice and beans were delicious, and the queso was some of the best we've had. The salsa was fresh with just the right amount of kick, and everything came out hot and quickly. Joanna's excellent service really made the meal even better. She was welcoming, checked on us at the perfect times, and made us feel like valued guests. We'll definitely be coming back and will be asking for Joanna again. Highly recommend!

This restaurant deserves way more spotlight than it gets, most restaurants in goldsboro don't even add queso just the shredded cheese but this one never skimps on it! The liquid marijuana is deeeelicious never too strong and super fruity. The service is very quick and attentive. The restaurant itself is nice and welcoming too, would recommend to anyone looking for some good Mexican food!

We were seated and given chips and salsa right away even though it was almost full. They had $10 pitchers of beer that were a lot cheaper than buying them individually. She was great without being annoying. The manager or owner was working pouring beers and bringing out food. There is a bar area, but it's a little crowded because there is a table behind it that the servers were rolling silverware. I'm giving it 5 stars because it's the best Mexican food in town. And because of the fresh guacamole! This stands out due to the authentic food and very friendly staff.
