We had a delicious meal, I got chicken salad this time, although I've been here several times and tried different meals. We got help frequently, and took some food home for a second meal as the portions were huge. I love coming here, I'll be back with friends again for sure. Highly recommended

I don't get the bad reviews at all! We went to Cazadores after our original dinner plans failed…read more Our friends have been here quite a few times and recommended it, so we decided why not?! I'm so glad we did, they have really good chips and salsa and large menu to satisfy anyone's preference on Mexican food. I went with the fajita bowl, but did carne asada instead of chicken and it was delicious! It comes in a tostado bowl with meat, veggies, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, rice and beans and it was huge! I couldn't even finish half of it, even if I really wanted to. My husband got the chimichangas with carne asada and he thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well. They unfortunately didn't have any mint for a mojito, but my friend got a blended strawberry margarita that looked refreshing (I cannot have tequila otherwise I wouldn't ordered one too). It's a small restaurant, but it has patio seating outside so our wait wasn't too long. The service is great, our waitress was friendly and the prices were fair. We don't travel to Madera often, but the next time we'll be visiting Cazadores.

And then making comments in Spanish to your cook about customers in front of them is rude. Get another job because you obviously don't want to deal with customers and any of their requests. I've been coming here for YEARS and today was the first time I was treated rudely. I am not sure if I will be coming back honestly. The ladies that usually work here are never rude, but this new guy needs to get a new job asap he's going to hurt their business by making the regular customers mad and being rude to them when the ask for literally ONE thing.

The tortilla was soft yet cooked to perfection. 2 chilies, radish and a cup of spicy salsa came with the order. I also had a bite of my buddies empanada and it was fantastic. The chicken and explosion of flavors. Service: Above and beyond. Greeted with a smile, served with a smile and farewelled with a smile. I'll come back just for the service. Ambiance: The ambiance was very home style. You can watch them prepare everything. There were a few tables and chairs. It was nice when we entered not too packed. Was looking for a taco spot in town after work and this hidden gem kept popping up everywhere. What…read morecaught my eye were the wet burritos and wet tortas -- those pictures looked way too good to ignore. So today I finally gave this taco joint a shot. Right away the service stood out. The person at the front was friendly, professional, and super helpful with recommendations. You can also see the taco man in the back making sure everything comes out fresh and cooked perfectly. The setup is small but cozy, tucked inside a store with a few tables and a TV. Definitely the kind of spot you sit down and enjoy instead of rushing out. Now the wet burrito... my LORD. That's what a burrito is supposed to be. Packed with flavorful meat, loaded with sauce, and they absolutely do not skimp on portions. Every bite was fire and I still had enough left over to take home. If you're in Madera, stop wasting time searching for tacos or burritos elsewhere. This hidden gem just became my new go-to spot.

We were quickly greeted with a smile, even though the cashier was putting together a large order. Several people were seated, waiting for to go orders. Cleanliness of food area: the floors were immaculate and the food cook and prep area were very clean. I noticed the cook washing his hands, the sink is visible from the front counter. All tables were clean, the trash cans were empty and clean. Lots of wall decor which was clean and decorated for Valentine's Day. The cashier, Hailey was asked for best menu items and we ordered those. Hailey is very enthusiastic about the food here, which isn't typical of cashiers. Usually it's idk maybe try this.. she knew immediately how to answer and what she specifically loved! Order: Pedro Special: which is bacon, ham, chorizo, sausage, beans, eggs, cheese and potatoes.. Shrimp wet taco: shrimp, cheese and a deliciously seasoned shredded bi with warm spices Heyy-dog tacos: seasoned and fried baked papa with chorizo fried crispy with red oil. Pastor street style taco: pastor meat, cilantro onion.. Green salsa: very bright flavors of lime and cilantro which brighten up and add that freshness to the fatty meats and fried tortillas. Tasted verrrrrrrrrrrry fresh made. Red salsa: had a nice flavor, with fresh cultural but I prefer green. Tasted veryyyyyyy fresh made. The shrimp wet taco was a definite 5/5 for both myself and boyfriend. The shrimp paired well with the warm spices added to the birria. I picked up hints of both cinnamon and clove. The birria is more on the traditional end and not the viral trend end. I tend to shy away from Birria due to the amount of grease and fat, while it was present, it was perfect blend, not overwhelming and didn't kill my stomach! Flavors were well, the cheese complimented it and the perfectly crispy fried tortillas coupled with the green chile salsa to brighten the entire pallet. The Pedro was HUGE, I couldn't wrap my hand around the burrito!! A massive burrito with perfect textured potatoes, very evenly proportioned, with all of the toppings. I expected it to have a heavy presence of the cheaper items like beans and potatoes, this was not the case! The pastor taco was lucious and all the different floral, acidic, salty notes could be picked up! Again, paired well with green salsa. Hey dog tacos: The chorizo used is a butcher style blend and not the cheap tubed stuff. I love butcher chorizo, without eggs, paired with potatoes!! The tacos were absolutely filled! I added a touch of salt, I'm a salt heavy person.. Customer service was really good!! You hear lots of positive talk coming from the kitchen area, even during super busy stressful times. Hailey is calling back to the cook what she has prepared, what is needed, what orders are complete and how she completed them. Doing all of this she is managing phones, counter orders, fake calls of people claiming they ordered food on Uber Eats and communicating the entire time with the cook. What an asset of an employee and a great multitasker! Will we return: Based on customer service alone, yes. The quantity versus quality was also great, especially in today's economy! I'd love to have the hey dog tacos with a grilled hot dog tossed in there..

I also had their asada tacos and those were just ok IMO, they had too much big chunks of fat and I'm just not into asada tacos like that. They were still good though just not my favorite asada tacos in Madera, but definitely liked their al pastor ones and their aguacate salsa was definitely fire! I appreciate the cook recommending that sauce once the cashier asked which sauce was the spiciest one because that is what I had asked and also letting me have a pack of each aguacate, red and green salsa was really cool because most taco trucks only let you pick one or two max, so they went above and beyond with that small gesture. Overall, I liked the flavor and small details of this taco truck, if they come to our job again I will definitely visit them again.
