Staff were friendly and spoke english so we had no issues ordering even complicated items! Seating is small on the inside, so be prepared to have to take away or find somewhere nearby. We got lucky with our group of 6! Fully recommend their fresh juice choices as I believe they change every day!

Usually, especially Before Chipotle, local takes were fun & often strange - like the gouda & curried chicken burrito in Holland, 1996. But the Germans ... they don't mess around. 2018 I was astonished accidently finding "SF Burrito Company" in Köln. My brain blew a fuse. And the burritos were absolutely outstanding in every possible way. Went there dozens or times. Took my first born there, who was raised on Bay Area burritos. Wow! Then I learned SF taquerias were all over Deutschland. Maybe I should relocate ... Sadly, SF Burrito Co in Köln did not survive Covid. But cologne has other taquerias making magnificent burritos (to be reviewed later). I'd spotted Berlin's Dolores on previous trips but had not tried for a variety of reasons. Enter 2024 and in town with my youngest son (also raised on burritos). I was so excited to try Dolores. But truly saddened by the food experience. I grade burritos on a local curve. And by German standard, Dolores gets 3 stars max. It's basically blander than Chipotle. I'm so let down by the experience, I can't even describe it. I'll start either the Quesadilla as my burrito PTSD is just too strong to reflect on it. The chicken quesadilla was awful. Chicken and tortilla texture felt as if they were both prepared in a microwave. Rubbery chicken that was extremely dry inside. Zero crispness to the tortilla. Next to no cheese. And way too much cilantro on the chicken. And a side of mushy pico de gallo. I'm almost crying in shame reflecting on what a quesadilla from the Mission is compared to this. Ugh. The burrito. Got their house Pork special. Said it was Carnitas. For some reason, it took over 15 minutes to get to us - not a problem but bizarre as they had a burrito assembly line running. Anyway, it was very flabby in construction. No tension in the tortilla to hold it together. And the tortilla was mushy. Not properly steamed or crisped on the grill. The pork was very nice. A highly spiced pulled pork. Definitely not anything like carnitas. I do not believe it was fried or braised. A very low proportion of meat to rice. And the rice ... way too much Cilantro. Texture OK. But soapy cilantro from the rice practically overpowered the pork. Beans - refried which was a nice surprise. They were pretty OK . No cheese. A tiny amount of sour cream. Had a hot salsa in it. But was hardly noticeable and not even hot. Basically, a burrito that was a so-so copy of Qdoba or Chipotle. So sad. So very sad. The dining experience - the place was packed on a beautiful Saturday. A Line spilling out to the street. Nowhere to sit inside or outside. It was wonderful seeing so many couples and families enjoy an SF burrito experience ... I am thankful or this.

This tiny restaurant in Neukölln is the stuff that hipsters dream of: succulents and other plants galore, rustic decor, food served on wooden slabs instead of plates, long waits, and Instagram-worthy food. I'll admit to snapping a quick pic or two of my food before I dig in, but to my horror, one of the diners actually whipped out his DSLR and had a five-minute photoshoot with his meal before actually eating. So... yeah. You should know what to expect from Roamers before you get here. That being said, some of the obnoxiously hip clientele shouldn't put you off from visiting Roamers because the food is more than pretty good -- if you visit at a strategic time, of course. (Swing by on a weekday morning!) Immediately after walking in, I had the impression that the owner must be enamored with California -- the state flag, a license plate, and the plethora of succulents sort of gave it away. But there was an out-of-place Southwestern vibe that didn't quite jive with this Californian aesthetic. I asked the owner about it before I left and he revealed that he was inspired by Joshua Tree in Southern California. The food reflects this Californian/Wild West/Mexican aesthetic -- kale on kale, jalapeño cheese sandwiches, french toast, avocado toast, huevos rancheros, etc. I had the french toast, which was absolutely impeccable. Roamers really takes it up a notch with their interpretation of this classic breakfast dish: caramelized pear, berries, jam, and greek yogurt! At €8, it was worth every cent. And having complimentary tap water is definitely a plus because it's such a rarity in Berlin!

Immediately upon arriving the coziness of the restaurant is apparent from the outdoor tables, lush plants everywhere, and music coming out of the small restaurant. Each dish looks and tastes exquisite. Could not recommend this restaurant more highly. Be aware that it is cash only and the largest available table seats four people.
