He said the work was done he just needed to put it back together. I got there to pick it up just as he was finishing. It started right up and sounded normal to me. I was ready to pay and go. Jay apologized but it just wasn't good enough for him. He wanted to keep it another couple of days to change the size jets in the newly installed carburetor. I've now had my bike back for a little over a week and it's running better than ever. It's 18 years old and since I got it 5 years ago it had a little backfire. I took in my 2013 Road King because it was leaking fuel. He knew exactly what the problem was immediately, and explained what needed to be done. His price was very fair, and was able to get the repairs done quickly. When I pulled up to his business, he was cleaning the spokes on the wheels to a chrome shine. Finding mechanics to work on bikes older than 10 years is hard enough already but what a great place motozone is to get work done. Pricing is very reasonable too. FInding a rear rotor for my 08 GL1800 isnt easy unless i want to drop $912 for an oem one. But after looking through some gently used units and going over which one would be the best Cody took the time to help check them out and advise me which one. ( i know nothing about brakes and rotors and dint want to buy something that potentially had something i couldn't recognize to be bad). So kudos for the time and effort despite how busy they are to help me make sure i purchase the right part even if its not through them. They dont price gouge anything he could have ordered it through ebay for me but told me if so there would be a 20% upcharge and was open and honest about it. Wanted to get them running great they got me in right away, fixed them all and when I said my bikes were for sale, the owner Joe called me, met him and he was great. Purchased the bikes for his grandkid and one of the other employees purchased the other one. They work was quality done very friendly definitely take my Kawasaki in there for now on and I have recommended my friends to go there. They do great work very communicative.

2.5 months to do a carb job but checked nothing else…read morethey were asked to give the bike a full checkup and i get it back with overflowing water filled coolant reservoir and the bike running off the battery as the charge system wasn't functioning. the 4x4 wasn't engaging. So a 1000 bucks to do a carb job. i don't know this place is a hit or miss. and when you call them to explain what's happening and your disappointment do they try and fix it? no their response is the bike broke between me picking it up and getting it home. Customer service is definitely lacking at this place as i wasn't even asking them to fix it but to at least make it right somehow. Update: so I'm waiting for the part to fix the charging problem and I would start the bike at least once a week and now I started today and fuel just pouring out from underneath the carburetors from the job that they did.
