5 Stars for a perfect hidden garden spot for great drinks, food, and vibes outside of the Reina Sofia Museum.
We didn't have a reservation, but stopped by before heading to the museum and were able to snag a table. Lisi was our server (from Dominican Republic) and she was an absolute GEM! She gave us recommendations and joked with us throughout the lunch.
We THOROUGHLY enjoyed our espresso martinis and Pisco sours, so don't skip out on the cocktails when you're there. I'd say that the drinks, paired with the outdoor-ish atmosphere and string lights made this a spot worth taking lots of pictures and visiting with friends. It was giving Miami energy in the best way.
Besides the drinks, our dishes included
- The Burrata aliñada (16.50)- Yes, the price is a bit steep for this small burrata dish, but the table enjoyed the tomato topping and the generous olive oil.
- Patatas bravas al mas estillo Madri (10)- This was plenty to share and the potatoes were crispy.
- ** Tarta finisima de manzana con helado (10)- This dessert was, as the name suggests, extremely delicate with finely sliced and layered apples over a thin base. It was our favorite bite of the visit and absolutely worth it!
Overall, a great stop for bites and drinks along one's museum tour of Madrid! read more
