I've run into this with trying to post food trucks on Yelp, Yelp uses the registered business address and not the service location. A typical broad menu as opposed to a few specialties. I ordered a quesabirria taco to go and a jamaica. The quesabirria were good, not served with a side cup of broth, but had enough moisture in the meat that it worked. Great jamaica though, full flavors, not overly sweet and served with some diced apples. Two tables under a tarp were available. To park would drive a little past the truck, make a U-turn and park on the other side of the street which has a curb.

If you are craving tender and flavorful birria, then Tacos Humildes is your stop…read more This location lacks parking, however, next block over there's a city lot with plenty of free parking. This is a no frills type place but it's clean and organized. On this particular day I ordered the following: 1. Birria Pizza (roughly $21 or so) it includes 12oz of consume. Two oversized flour tortilla stuffed with tender, beef birria and cheese) then grilled like a quesadilla. Topped with (which I got on the side) diced white onions, chopped cilantro, pickled red onions and drizzled with a vibrant "green sauce" which was creamy (an emulsified salsa verde taquera) and a fiery red sauce which was significantly spicer than the green and limes on the side. And the consume to dip your pizza birria in. The consume is served piping hot and is so flavorful. This is the broth in which the birria was cooked in. This is my favorite thing to order at Tacos Humildes. 2. Mexican Rice (roughly $4.50). Rice was pretty standard, nothing memorable. But I definitely felt the price-point was off. I received about 9 oz of rice. A bit overpriced for an inexpensive food item. Rice is a few cents on the dollar and really inexpensive to prepare, so almost $5.00 is ridiculous. The restaurant has plenty of indoor seating and AC works great. The cashier, Diana was also prepared the food. She was super friendly and really engaging. I do recommend this local small business for their Pizza Birria. Additionally, Diana informed me that on the weekends, Taco Humildes sets up their taco truck in McFarland.

The restaurant is classy, spacious, well designed and inviting....but how's the food you ask? Well let me tell you this place is serving up delicious Mexican cuisine. Be it from the coastal influences of Mexico, to regional savory dishes. You'll have quite a few options to choose from; dishes like Camorones with a variety of preparations from zarandiado to à la diabla and other options! They also have several fish, beef, and molcajete options to choose from, and of course the traditional dishes like enchiladas and a variety of combinaciones de res (beef). The appetizer options are very good too. We enjoyed our sampling of shrimp empanadas. A tasty filled pastry stuffed with shrimp, cheese and peppers and topped with a chipotle aioli sauce. Absolutely delicious. I could go on about the food, but I totally recommend that you go try it for yourself. Delicious food. Kudos to the chef. We will be back.

Stopped by the carniceria today to pick up some meat for carne asada tacos. Their meat is always fresh with a variety of cuts available. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that on Sundays they sell birria de res and birria de chivo. I decided to pass on cooking and get both of the birrias instead. I'm not kidding when I say that they were both so delicious. Tender and seasoned to perfection. My favorite was the chivo! It was the best I've had outside of Mexico.
