Easily the highlight of the meal. For the main course, the catch of the day was swordfish. While the flavor was good, the fish itself was a bit tough, so I wouldn't strongly recommend it. However, the sides it came with were exceptional: the potatoes were comforting and well seasoned, and the mushroom risotto was rich, creamy, and incredibly satisfying. Easily one of the best things on the plate. The service was great, friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed yet stylish. If you're in Valparaíso and want a meal with a view, Restaurant Fauna is a wonderful choice, especially for the ceviche and that unforgettable risotto.

The restaurant is located a little bit up the hill in Cerro Concepcion in beautifully renovated house. The ambiance is warm and woody, the walls decorated with quite impressive paintings for sale, jazz music playing in the background. The most important thing, they make pisco sours, all kind of them.
