    Tacos al pastor

Yo vine solo por los tacos del pastor! Si tú estás estás buscando un lugar con tacos al pastor definitivamente recomiendo este lugar.

Came here cause Phil came here on his show "Somebody feed Phil" which we love! Awesome awesome tacos. Clean, fast, friendly service. I only had the al pastor because they were perfect. At 6 and total bill was like $10 with a soda!! Meat was melt in your mouth tender with the correct amount of char. The tortillas were soft and fluffy. I liked the added touch of sautéed onion vs raw. You get a little tray filled with 5-6 different salsas to try. Overall Phil didnt disappoint - really loved it here.

We heard a lot of good things about this place and had to try it ! Cute place with fast and friendly servers. The restaurant was clean and small but since service was so fast there was always an empty table and not a long wait. We were a party of 6, but decided to split into 2 parties of 3 so that we could be seated right away. We ordered the Al pastor and I'm not a big Al pastor person but the flavors and seasonings of this Al pastor was soo tasty and juicy. My favorite is the succulent suadero tacos ! Amazing flavors and plenty of meat for each taco. Good tacos and great service ! Highly recommend this place.

El Hueqito delivers huge Al Pastor tacos that are great quality and worth checking out! While traveling in Mexico, tacos are a given. There are so many different types of tacos also! You can get something simple like on the street or you can get something a little more fancy. El Huequito is definitely on the fancier side! With table side service and a selection of salsas to choose from, the dining experience is a nice change of pace especially after a long day of walking around. Everyone talks about the Al Pastor and these did not disappoint. The especial came in a mountain of Al Pastor meat drenched with salsa and tortillas fit to make several decent filled tacos. The meat was nice and juicy. The service was quick and friendly. They do take credit card! Overall, El Huequito has great tacos worth checking out especially if you are in the mood for some Al Pastor tacos.

Went here little late.. Close to closing time. Tacos were pretty good.. I had the Azteca soup which tasted ok.. But the soup was Luke warm.. I prefer my soup hotter... It wasn't too bad but I would not order again. The tacos were huge.. You pay little more then next door but it's about twice the meat.. Meat was nice and tender and good flavored.. Price was also good.

Overall a very clean place, however the prices will be a bit higher than your average taqueria. However worth it if you're looking for something that's more upscale than standing on the street but not expensive as eating in a restaurant where people speak English. El torro del pastor is really worth it, it's a mix of pastor, cheese, onions and like 8 tortillas.

We came here for their Al pastor tacos! We came late so the dine in area was closed already. Luckily they left us ordered to eat outside. It's a fun and different experience to eat Street tacos. The Al pastor tacos here are very good. One of the best that I ever had. I would totally come back again for more!

Sweet lord - these were some good tacos. If you want a place you can sit down and enjoy some al pastor with a beer this is it. I love the street tacos but it's also nice to be able to sit, pay with card and enjoy food leisurely with good service. The al pastor tacos were very good - not as sweet but certainly as flavorful as other places. I also got the queso relleno with al pastor, which was a full meal! It was the size of a burrito and came in two pieces featuring a hunk of al pastor lightly fried in cheese with a tortilla around each. The salsas were good to - would absolutely recommend if you're near the zocalo and want to sit down for a meal

Yet another taqueria that claims to have invented the al pastor, this one has quite a bit more to offer on their menu. In comparing this place to el Tizoncito, Tizomcito has the better al pastor. That said, this is still a great spot to eat. Great the al pastor supreme which is basically an al pastor tower for you to make your own. Very Instagram worthy. We also order their namesake alambre. It's basically 3 types of meat with melted cheese, onions, and peppers. It was very good and a ton of meat. The only thing I disliked about this place was that the waiter tried to be a bit sneaky. I gave him 500 pesos to get change for a tip but instead of giving me smaller denominations, he gave me large bills. This resulted in me giving him a smaller tip than the one that I had originally intended.

Their Arrachera torta. Goddamn....an unassuming sandwich, but perhaps the best sandwich of my life.

Oh man, like most places in CDMX, it was really easy as an americano to communicate with the staff. They were very excited to share their culture with me, which I really appreciated. The waiter suggested their classic taco, which I enjoyed, but what i really came for was a torta. The waiter recommended the arrachera. It's hard to even describe this sandwich. I'm not sure I've had anything like this arrachera torta. It was beef with cheese, I think mayo and avocado? I'm writing this review a few days after I ate it so I could be mistaken......NONETHLESS, I left very happy. If you get this, you will not be disappointed. Viva Mexico!

    Pastor Tacos: 18MXP each

While neighboring Taqueria Los Cocuyos gets a lot of the attention having been blessed by Bourdain, El Huequito's pastor should not be missed if you're in CDMX. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? El Huequito is a sit down spot, so go next door if you're on the fly, but if you're able to have a seat you'll enjoy some fast, friendly, and English-speaking service at El Huequito. It isn't fancy, but it gets the job done. Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? El Huequito charges what is a fair market price of 18 MXP for their pastor tacos, which is entirely reasonable. Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? The pastor at El Huequito is the flagship offering, and you'll quickly understand why. While it's not the red-tinted tangy pastor with pineapple that you might be used to, the flavors at El Huequito are strong and the pastor tender. My only gripe was that the peripherals were a bit weak - good salsas, but no onions or cilantro to speak of and tortillas that were just okay. Single Star. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Especially because Los Cocuyos doesn't have pastor tacos, El Huequito is a must visit for Pastor in this part of town. Star.

This is for Al Pastor tacos! The pastor tacos are one of the best I've had here in Mexico City! Super fresh, fatty yummy pork served with fresh tortillas. There are so many fresh salsas and guacamole provided at the table. All are so tasty and vary from mild to habanero. Highly recommend

Luckily when we came last Sunday, around 2 pm, there was no wait for a table. An employee saw us and told us to sit anywhere. As soon as sat down, another employee brought us menus. We ended up getting: Grande Lechero, $54 MXN ($3.13 USD)- Large size coffee with milk. When our server brought over my husband's drink, she made a grand show of pouring the milk up high into my husband's coffee. I just wished I had gotten a video of it but it was definitely very fun to watch. My husband said his coffee was good (I didn't have any because I am not much of a coffee drinker). Combo 1 with Grande chocolate drink, $155 MXN ($8.98 USD)- So this combination comes with 4 large pieces of churros, 1 dip of your choice and also a chocolate drink. I ended up choosing a Mexican hot chocolate, which is made with cinnamon and sugar. Surprisingly the drink wasn't overly sweet. And really was perfect to dip my churro into the hot chocolate. For the dip, I picked cajeta, which is caramel made with goats milk. The cajeta was excellent with the churro. I don't know if this was the best churro that I have ever had, but it is definitely one of the top ones I have ever had. My husband also enjoyed the churros and the cajeta (he also liked my hot chocolate too). --------------------------- (Total= $209 MXN or $12.11 USD prior to tip) Wait time for our items was pretty quick. We waited less than 10 minutes for everything. Also credit card is accepted so my husband paid (We have the Costco Visa credit card which does not have a foreign transaction fee, which we used exclusively when we were not paying cash). Our server brought a card reader machine to our table when we were ready to pay (for those of you unaware, in Mexico, you will not be brought your check until you ask for it because it is considered rude to give it to you beforehand, assuming that you are being rushed). Overall, we had a really great experience at this location and highly recommend checking out any of the Churrería El Moro locations the next time you visit Mexico City.

Got an order of 4 churros with caramel (cajeta) and guava (Guayaba) dipping sauces, they were out of chocolate. You can have them tossed in regular sugar or cinnamon sugar which is traditional. The churros were warm and crispy on the outside and soft inside but had a slight burnt flavor. Both dipping sauces were good but in a different way. It's like donuts topped with caramel or guava, one is more fruity and the other more sweet. Just depends what you're in the mood for or what you prefer. I also got the frances hot chocolate which is their hot chocolate with vanilla. It was better than what I had earlier at another place. Overall the churros were good but not the best i've had.
