Definitely the best ice cream in Oaxaca, maybe even the whole world. An absolute must for any dessert trips in Oaxaca. The ice cream is fairly unusual, coming with nitrogen to keep it cool, and made in the "thai" style, which gives it a uniquely delectable texture. They chop the fruit/flavoring right into the ice cream before your eyes, without adding any preservatives or artificial ingredients, making phenomenal ice cream that isn't bad for you. There are a number of choices of fruits and toppings and dozens of different combinations to try, and once in a while, rarer ingredients like tuna will be available if you ask. Additionally, their smoothies are some of the best I've had (I'd personally recommend the "berries") and perfect for a hot day.
The service is incredible - Francisco and Gerardo are incredibly friendly and willing to talk you through the entire process if you have any questions, or just make conversation. Even if you don't know Spanish, that's okay, as Francisco speaks English. 100% would recommend coming here, if not for the ice cream, for the quality service and exceptional smoothies. read more
