It is bathed with mayonnaise, queso fresco, chili powder, chili sauce, tajin and lime. It was a delicious snack that was not too, too heavy. Delicious! Beware, there is ALWAYS a line.

When we got there there was a line of people who hadn't yet ordered and others who were waiting for their food. Someone walked up to us asking for our order. Then we waited as they cooked everything in front of us and handing them to patrons. We got the chile relleno ($30 MXN) and mushroom tacos ($30). We liked the chile relleno one more as it was cheesy. Both tacos were a little oily but they were good. There were some salsa stations on the side for extra flavor. There was nowhere to sit so people either ate standing or took their food to go. This stall was authentic and the food was inexpensive. This was street food at its core.

What makes these elotes and esquites so delicious is especially the home made mayonnaise, grated cheese and chilli powder. Of course also the love it has been made with.
