We ordered the Vampiro with papas (285 pesos), a carne asada taco (40 pesos), and a quesadilla with carne (70 pesos) and 2, 12-ounce Mexican Cokes (60 pesos). Altogether, we spent $22.22 for lunch. We noticed on this trip that Rocky Point prices were very similar to what we were spending in the United States. This place is very clean and we sat at the inside dining. Note: they only take cash here, DO NOT order assuming you can use a debit card. They are generous with the topping tray, which includes: lettuce, 2 salsa, an avocado sauce, limes, and cucumbers. To be honest, these are large portions and we would have been full with just the Vampiro with potatoes. The Cokes with real cane sugar are always better than our American ones with high fructose corn syrup. A small portion of the beef was a little grisly with fat. I subtracted one star for this and the fact that they ONLY take cash. This is a decent, clean eatery. They offer their entire menu with either corn or flour tortillas. Come hungry because the plates are large!

Everything I remember was excellent, especially the Carne Tacos which come with all the fixings, cucumbers salsa , chopped cabbage, tomato based salsa! Didn't go wild & try more food this time. Very inexpensive & great food! Love eating here, a wonderful Local Taco eatery!

Tacos Brissa - You order at the counter, then sit at a table and wait. I was confused at first- you actually pay after you eat.

Loved, loved, loved this place! This was recommended to us by a local and we're glad we followed…read morehis suggestion. Pollo Lucas has been in the community for decades and they seem like a staple related to fresh chicken in the town. Similarly to other places, there are vendors and men outside who want cash for helping you park. The seating inside offers a lot of spots, but vendors do come inside and ask if you're interested in purchasing other goods. This restaurant does take card payments, but prefer cash/pesos. Most of the workers do not know English, so be prepared and know at least some basic Spanish words beforehand. If not, it'll still be okay! The women at the counter were very kind and helped us get seated. My group shared one chicken (240 pesos) with rice, beans, and salsas. I grabbed a homemade juice that was yummy too. Note that the chicken comes with cabbage, onion, salsa, limes, and tortillas but the other sides are seperate. The chicken was so hot, fresh, and flavorful. Everything was delicious and we ate it all with no leftovers. The chicken is charbroiled and you can see it all cooking. It made it hard to wait for the food, as it smelled amazing, but it's worth the wait. We'd 100% come back again.

Prices are low, quality is very high, and you will not leave hungry. They take pride in what they do here, and it shows. What you will get is tacos stuffed with meat......bigger than your average street tacos by about 2x. The grilled meats are perfect.......and I have studied them closely! . The shrimp are so fresh that they make me weep.......no lie, the best I've had around here! All are served with tons of fresh add ons. Looking at the reviews I was super excited to try this place. Maybe I am bias but the taco al…read morepastor is my favorite taco. There is something magical about thinly sliced marinated pork on a vertical spit roasted over flame. My first issue with the pork is it was haphazardly cut with a dull knife and the bigger chunks were excessively chewy. Thin slices are perfect for the fatty pieces because pork needs fat! Not a deal breaker this would have been 5 stars up to this point. My biggest issue is buying almost 2 pounds of meat the condiments were dis-portionate. One and a half limes for this much meat. The shredded cabbage, pico, and cilantro barely covered 7 tacos, we still have 33 more to go. Minus the 20 tortillas they shorted us it was still not enough. Now we are down to 4 stars. Lastly the flavor was lacking. Maybe it is a geographical thing; dunno. What I do know is the tacos @ Rana's in Nogales taste pretty close to the ones @ Delicias in Acapulco 3,500 miles away. This was a boring taco. Maybe I should have got the chicken or carne, but chicken is usually overcooked for tacos. However, next time I will try something else and amend my review if needed.
