I am writing an updated review for a review I left this week. The manager after seeing my review…read morehas communicated very well with me to address my issues with items I purchased. Apparently, the items were by mistake sent out without being checked over for defects. The company acknowledged this and credited me for their mistake. They did advise to always get pictures emailed before ordering from a salvage yard which will be very helpful to anyone who orders. Since I couldn't remove the rating from before , I wanted to give credit to the staff who graciously helped resolve the issues with our order. Thank you Chucks for following up and understanding our needs.

If a lifter is ticking at the engines 1st oil change at 500 miles, what is it going to sound like at 2000 miles ? This is the quality of engines they sell : - 1st engine lasted 972 miles -2nd engine lasted 200 miles - 3rd engine lasted 500 miles The truck was purchased in May 2021, it's now May 2023. To date, I've put under 12,000 miles on it. Considering the average person puts 15,000 miles on a vehicle in a YEAR, I am none too happy that my truck has been in the shop more than in my driveway. AutoZone's engine supplier required a insane amount of tests that needed to be performed before they would approve a replacement ( please see my earlier review ). I have been in contact with the district manager and his boss, the area director requesting this matter be resolved. Bob, the area, director seemed he wasn't happy with the how my ordeal has been handled and told me he'd look into it and call me back. That call hasn't come. The only person who was helpful was Crystal ( I think that's her name ) the commercial sales manager. She did all she could do, and then some. Her bosses, not so much. I hope my situation helps someone make an informed decision when buying anything from AutoZone in the future.

An employee came up to the counter and asked if anyone was helping me, to which I told him no. Instead of responding to me, he picked up the ringing phone asking the person on the other end of the line to hold. He then looked at me saying nothing, so I proceeded to tell him my car was throwing codes and I needed to get it hooked up to the code reader to figure out the problem. He told me he could not help me because he was "just a driver" and I would have to wait on the one associate who was helping someone else. I said okay and stood and waited for approximately 10 minutes. After this time, the sales associate began ringing up the other customer at the cash register and the "driver" began speaking to the associate even before the transaction was completed. He was confirming that the code reader was broken! Wait, what?! Yes, you heard it right, the "driver" made me wait just to tell me information he already knew!
