I came here one night for dinner with my dad. The food was absolutely delicious!! Very tasty and filling. The chips were really yummy too. The salsa was good but very watery. The service could have been a bit better as well. Other than that, my dad and I enjoyed our food a lot. Also, this place is cash only so be sure to have cash on you when you go!

Decent Meal here. This is in a strip mall. At an event where we needed a private room which are few and far between it seems. Servers were very kind and attentive. Carnitas were good! The usual bland-ish Mexican food that you get around here. . Cholula definitely helped.

This is a cheese enchilada and beef taco with rice and beens. There is no enchilada sause on it the beans are from a can and the taco awful

Just order from this place through DD oh my god never tried anythig so bad before nothing was homemade. Really wish i would have just warmed up a tortilla with cheese on it in the microwave it would have been much better and more homemade than this place

    The spread ready to go!

El Farol did an awesome job putting together a catered menu for my sister's 50th birthday party. Lolita, the owner there was so easy to work with and the meal was very fair priced! She also checked with me to make sure there wasn't any last-minute changes. Everything was ready on time and I just feel they did an awesome job for me and my family! The food was excellent and I highly recommend El Farol! The quality was excellent, and so much of it. I would highly recommend them

Absolutely awful food was delivered. Do Not order the carne asada taco plate!! The meat was gross and I got food poisoning from tasting it. Here's a photo:

Take your business somewhere else honestly. I always look forward to salsa. It's a Mexican restaurant staple - but their salsa comes from a can. You can tell immediately from the taste with preservatives, the water, and sodium concentrate. Besides that disappointment, they don't serve queso, another missing staple. I think some items on this menu are okay - but just that - okay. The chili verde was disgusting. The meat was soggy and pink. Pretty sure this was canned too. This place is not real Mexican food,el Farol more like Farrell.

This place is okay. I have been here twice now and my family has been here all the time growing up. From what I have heard it has continued to go downhill and isn't what it used to be. I arrived about ten minutes after my family got their drinks rolling and sat down. I had not even opened my menu when the server came and asked if we were ready to order. He was clearly annoyed and wanted us out of there asap. Anytime we would speak he would immediately try to walk away and did not care for what we had to say. It was pretty rude. My food was decent I probably would have enjoyed a chain's enchilada more then I did here. It was pretty dry and I was disappointed they did not have a shrimp enchilada. I do not see myself coming back anymore unless they came up with a new menu and better customer service.

Food did not seem very authentic. I think the salsa was paste picante sauce however staff was nice and friendly.

Water had a bitter aftertaste, so did our fruity drinks. Beans were way too salty and dry. Not a fan.

I ordered the fish tacos and a cucumber lemonade, and both were outstanding. The lemonade was incredibly refreshing and hit the spot perfectly. The fish tacos were crispy, flavorful, and served with several different condiments that allowed you to customize each bite and add even more flavor. The chips and salsa were also fresh and delicious. One thing to note is that the parking lot is small and was completely packed when we arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon. However, we were still able to find parking and get a table surprisingly fast despite the crowd. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere made for a great experience. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend giving this place a try!

They start you off with chips and salsa, which is always appreciated. Just know that the first basket is complimentary and any additional baskets come with a charge. Of everything we tried, the Cheesy Pastor Tacos were the clear standout. The birria, asada, and chorizo were all good, but the pastor tacos stole the show. Next time I'll probably skip the variety and just order those. The only thing that caught us off guard was the seating policy. They wouldn't seat our table until everyone in the party had arrived, even though the people we were waiting for were literally pulling into the parking lot. It wasn't a huge issue, but it did feel a little unnecessary and inconvenient. Overall, the food was excellent, the drinks were refreshing, and the experience was a good one. I'll definitely be back, especially for the Cheesy Pastor Tacos.

You can order the Chimichanga in shredded beef, ground beef, chicken or carnitas. That's four different Chimichangas that they offer and what I told each one is absolutely delicious. I always love to order the chile relleno because you get a nice anaheim , or a poblano chili in it, stuffed with cheese, dipped in their batter, cooked and topped with their house sauce. Always a perfect choice and a perfect choice to compliment whatever you order with it. Their birria tacos looked absolutely delicious. I might order those when I go another time. Yeah, everyone enjoyed their food. Even the children; they had good choices for the children. As you can see in the pictures , the atmosphere is sweet and wonderful and inviting. It limits the ability to drive around the back of the building. There are two parking spaces on the west side of the building. I have seen cars get totally stuck, people yelling and getting upset. If you have a large vehicle, I would not even try to drive around the building. I would drive south of the restaurant and park at the whitmore library's parking lot, and walk over. Service is okay. Ordering is cramped, and if there's a line you're standing at the back of the restaurant right next to people sitting eating. It's uncomfortable.
