I love the mahi mahi tacos grilled or fried they are delicious. I also love the fried avocado tacos. They don't have a parking lot but there is free two hour parking right out front. Everything we had was delicious, fresh and corn tortillas are handmade too. Table salsas were spicy and flavorful and I was so excited to see them instead of generic salsa. Our fav tacos were the fish taco, lengua and the shrimp. Our least fav was the chicken-it was a little over cooked and although it was still tasty...we preferred all the pork/beef options more. They don't have fountain drinks. Options are bottled in the cooler and you pop open your on tops...which is how it should be! They have Mexican coke in a bottle too! The highlight FOR ME was the pickled onion...I stan pickled red onion and their version is so damn good. Perfect crunch with a little bit of spicy heat and tangy-ness of the vinegar....*chefs kiss*

So when I saw an interstate sign for Del Taco I veered off the highway on the exit. This turned out to be an excellent lunch stop. I had forgotten how good their burritos are, fresh ingredients and many choices. The beans are made fresh in house every day, slow cooked, and they are full of flavor. I ordered two bean and cheese burritos and they were huge! I saved one for dinner. I also ordered guacamole and chips, and the guac definitely tasted fresh. Much better than expected from a fast food restaurant. The employees were very friendly and the prices were certainly reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of food. Happy to find this Del Taco location, will plan to stop by when I am back in this area.

The food order I received today especially the soft taco and bean and beef burrito was thrown all together in to the bag and just handed to me by the staff. All they seem to care for is the manager going off about how a customer called in to complain about his food order there is a time and place for this and not where all the customers can hear him gripping about something that could have been easily handled and fix. Basically the conversation that the staff members were just going on and on about nothing work related or how the food and orders were handled especially mine and two other customers that was waiting on their order to. The beef for the burritos and tacos were heavenly seasoned in which the staff should tell the customers that may have a food high allergy to certain food items instead carrying on with other staff members about going somewhere on vacation. Overall experience here at this Del Taco this place needs serious improvements about how they prepare customers food orders no matter what the food item the customer orders not everyone in the world wants to eat a sloppy made burrito and soft tacos and watch the heavy language there was children present at the time.

So much better than the one on Washington St. atmosphere is great, waiters and waitresses are very polite and expedient. First time I had the chimichanga loca and the second time had the El Pinches Special. Both were delicious. I didn't leave hungry. Second time was with a wedding party. I had bragged about this restaurant. Every one was pleased. Prices are reasonable and most importantly the food is superb. 3rd time being here. Saturday about 7 pm. Place is busy, but got seated immediately, underneath a tv. Our waitress Jasmine being her 1st job was superb. Ordered drinks and dinner. Food was delicious. Noticed people adjacent to us watching the tv, a soccer match. A different waitress with dark hair in a long pony tail wearing glasses came and turned the volume on the tv above us which was blaring. I signaled for her to turn it down. After struggling with the remote for a minute she was able to lower the volume but was still to loud. I motioned for our waitress. I explained to her knowing it was not her fault, but this isn't a damn sports bar. Asked her to relay that to the establishment. This is a restaurant not a sports bar, if people want that atmosphere then they should go to a place like Hooter's where they don't care if your hearing gets damaged. I like this restaurant but my desire to return may be influenced by this. My sister went at a later date and experienced the same sports bar atmosphere. Says she won't go back. Went back solo. Told hostess just one but wanted a booth. She looked around, then asked me how many and if I would like a booth. DUH! I hope they return to how it was in the beginning! Keep the tv audio muted!!
