I had not been to a Del Taco for years, and I didn't know that they even had any locations east of the Mississippi. I am used to seeing Del Taco locations in Nevada, Utah, and New Mexico. So when I saw an interstate sign for Del Taco I veered off the highway on the exit. This turned out to be an excellent lunch stop. I had forgotten how good their burritos are, fresh ingredients and many choices. The beans are made fresh in house every day, slow cooked, and they are full of flavor. I ordered two bean and cheese burritos and they were huge! I saved one for dinner. I also ordered guacamole and chips, and the guac definitely tasted fresh. Much better than expected from a fast food restaurant. The employees were very friendly and the prices were certainly reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of food. Happy to find this Del Taco location, will plan to stop by when I am back in this area. read more

I'm not sure what happen to this Del Taco location but the food quality and taste isn't good like it use to be back in 2017 when I first started coming here for Taco's. The food order I received today especially the soft taco and bean and beef burrito was thrown all together in to the bag and just handed to me by the staff. All they seem to care for is the manager going off about how a customer called in to complain about his food order there is a time and place for this and not where all the customers can hear him gripping about something that could have been easily handled and fix. Basically the conversation that the staff members were just going on and on about nothing work related or how the food and orders were handled especially mine and two other customers that was waiting on their order to. The beef for the burritos and tacos were heavenly seasoned in which the staff should tell the customers that may have a food high allergy to certain food items instead carrying on with other staff members about going somewhere on vacation. Overall experience here at this Del Taco this place needs serious improvements about how they prepare customers food orders no matter what the food item the customer orders not everyone in the world wants to eat a sloppy made burrito and soft tacos and watch the heavy language there was children present at the time. read more

It was around 7:30pm when I got there. i was immediately informed that there was no chicken or steak. On a Friday night, no less. I ordered nachos with beef. Ugh. The box that it was placed in (used to be in a plastic container), was soggy; the chips were extra soggy and tasted burnt. So, no pics, but that's because the last few times I've eaten here I was ordering from the drive-through and then eating in the car -- what with the pandemic I'm not doing sit-down eating -- and Del Taco is absolutely superb. Now, I will note that this is five stars for fast food, but if you want a fast food taco, what you'll get here is light years above Taco Bell in terms of quality. I remember eating at a Del Taco as a child in my hometown before it shut down, and I was amazed to see that Del Taco exists as a chain and is now available here in Georgia. So far what I get is the Del Taco and the Combo Burrito. The Del Taco itself is fantastic: a crunchy taco shell stuffed with an immense amount of meat and cheese and topped with lettuce and tomato. The burrito is likewise stuffed to absolute fullness full of beans, meat, and cheese. The combo meals offer fries, which I personally find weird with tacos, and so I don't go for them, but that's personal taste on my part. Really first rate. read more

Straws are disgusting. They are placed in a by the drink station so all the beverages that are spilled on straws and condiments. They really need to rethink where they place the straws. Del taco used to be one of the best restaurants in town. Ever since they hired Dorothy, the manager, it's gone downhill fast. The quality of the staff is awful. Friendliness is non-existent. They're snappy, rude, and never smile. The quality of the food has gone down too. When I'd rather go to Taco Bell, there's a real problem. Not bad for fast food. Tacos were average, but the carne asada wet burrito plato was fresh and tasty. The rice was different, but delicious. It was fluffy white rice with a hint of lime. The food did leave that long-term after taste that you get at other fast food Mexican restaurants. I guess it's the tangy red sauce they put on everything that allowed me to "enjoy" it all day long. They need to include napkins in their bag when you go to the drive-through the last two times I've been I noticed no napkins. Had lunch at Del Taco again yesterday, and it was about the same as last time around...edible and okay, but really nothing to write home about. The limited time offer jumbo shrimp tacos were pretty good, but the seasonings on the fish tacos seemed a bit off (not helped by the fact that the lime wedges that came with the tacos were dried out and nearly unusable). The queso loaded fries were good, but the fries got soggy and were pretty much inedible before you could finish eating them. I'd probably only give the food 2 stars, but the service was very fast and friendly, and the restaurant was clean and had good tunes playing on the sound system, so we'll bump it up to 3 stars again. We were driving through Georgia late, retuning to Florida when we saw a sign on the interstate that said Del Taco drive through open 24 hours. It was 11:55 pm and we drove 3.5 miles from the interstate to get there. As we pulled up, we also read on their sign drive thru open 24 hours and a car was paying at the window. We rounded the building and began to pull through the drive thru when one of the workers put a cone in front of our car and quickly walked off. The food was tasty and I like that they use corn tortillas. My daughter did not get what she ordered, but she still enjoyed the surprise burrito she was given. They do need some more time to get their act together and learn how to be more efficient with completing orders. Me and my partner went to Del Taco March 18,2021 around 10:35 p.m. ish. I got the chicken tender meal with a lemonade he got the honey mango burrito meal with a coke. The lady who took our order and money was very nice. She seemed like she was the only one working the front. There were two other ladies up front. One lady finished eating licked her finger, touched her eye, touched her pants, and put on a headset. Didn't even wash her hands. The other lady was talking she had scrunchies on her wrist (at least she had gloves). She put our food in the bag but the fries for the burrito meal was upside down. Fries spilt in the bag. We asked for straws. She proceeded to hand us one and held onto the other straw and put it back not handing it to us while talking. We were tired and fed up. If it wasn't for the lady taking out money we would have left. It was ratchet in there sadly. It used to be a good place but is now gone down hill.
