Words can't express what this women has done for my family and I and our precious little boy we hold so dear. All have played sports at Pondo and been involved in clubs and other groups which both strengthened their bond to their classmates and to the school. We found teachers and coaches to genuinely care about our kids and their friends. Most of the students live in less densely populated neighborhoods and correspondingly you'll see more pickups than BMWs in the parking lot each morning. We enjoyed the lower level of pretense that exists here versus the other choices down the hill and believe our kids benefitted from it.

The teachers truly love the students and they are all devoted Christians. All of the students in the school are like a big family. The school has events to promote this unity. Including a mentoring program for the older students with the younger kids. My two senior students are currently in London England for a 10-day senior trip. Is that unbelievable? Tuition is expensive but we make sacrifices all the time for the protection and development of our children. This is just one more. Worth every penny! Top notch acedemics! The teacher teach in a way where the kids truly learn in there own pace, not stressed out but with lots of opportunity to excel. I was nervous at first to send our kids back thinking it would be less fun with all the new rules in place and I worried my kid would hate wearing a mask all day (They do hate it but wear it with no complaints). Anyway, the school has got it together. It's been such a different experience from the schools we came from (also 9/10 schools east bay). I felt confident they were well taken care of and was always assured of it given the constant communication and updates of schools happenings. Aside from being well organized and having excellent communication, the staff is SUPER friendly. From the office to the home teachers to security and to the building maintenance that sanitizes the school down - EVERYONE was so nice! Anyway, this week they went back to school full time (HOORAY!) my kids home teacher was literally in tears seeing all her students together and that really moved me. This school genuinely cares about your children and their well being. Also plus that the campus is nice clean and has that nice Lake view - hence the name.
