Maybe it was because we were starved for vegan food, maybe we were tired of pinxtos during our 3 month trip but this was one of the best vegan tacos I've had. Each ingredient in the taco had a nice flavor profile to it making it an explosion of flavors. Very often the ingredients are just cooked and put together without much thought. It also came with a side of salsa and guacamole. We also got a broccoli croquet and a samosa and while they were tasty, it was not comparable to the tacos. We also tried a vegan cheesecake. It came in a jar and was yummy but I would call it what it is...cheesecake parfait.
El Curry Verde might be the only vegan vegetarian restaurant in the area. The location was a bit of a walk from the center of town. It sits on the lower level of the shopping area in front of the water. You can see France across the way. We walked here in the pouring rain and would do it again for some delicious food! read more
