It's small but very inviting. Nice decor from the island and many photos paying homage to cuban known people. Colorful and full of cuban flavor. The service was great the host/bartender maybe owner? Was extremely welcoming and a nice guy. We sat upstairs and our waiter was also very friendly. Food was ok. We ordered the congri with ropa vieja and yuca. The rice was good, the ropa vieja was lacking flavor. I think it wasn't a traditional recipe or it was lacking tomato sauce. It was a bit bland. The yuca was nice and soft but it was also missing the traditional garlic sofrito you would add on top to give it that pop. Overall the food was ok but not what i was hoping for. We also ordered their pudding de guayaba and flan de coco. Both were very delicious. Great flavors not overwhelming.
