Nestled between a few other shops in a small plaza, El Comalito was, as the name suggests, quite snug and small. Our party of four swung by around 3pm on a So-Fi concert day and this place was full! Despite having signs that say no mask, no service, most customers and employees not wearing their masks properly (or at all), which was disappointing. And on the day we went, there fridge was broken, so the sodas were not cold. But, the most important thing: the food. While it was prepared very quickly, and reasonably priced - at least by LA standards - it wasn't anything special. And I was unpleasantly met with a hair in my food (which fortunately or unfortunately for me, was in my last taco). FYI: if you do plan on visiting this place, be prepared to not find parking. Best authentic mexican restaurant food I've had. My cousins and I who are from Texas went twice to eat and drink micheladas. The micheladas are hands down the best ones.
