El Churrascaso is an Argentinian (or it could pass as Brazilian) Steakhouse. They have multiple locations in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Area. This one is in the luxurious and upscale Miramar Town Center. We had a less-than-serviceable experience at another El Churrascaso Restaurant, but during our two visits here (once for a weeknight dinner, and once for a weekend lunch), we were treated with a high level of service and care. For each visit, we were seated immediately by the host, attended to regularly by the server, and received our food from the kitchen staff in exactly the way we requested (I.e., serving the meat medium rare). As a family of four, we tried two different meal configurations: For dinner, we ordered and shared the 2 lb. "Parrilla Mixta" (like a meat sampler variety option) Plate with an extra side and guaraná, and that came out to be $71.66 before tip. For lunch, we ordered 2 "Picanha Platos" plus one appetizer for $58.29 before tip. The "Parrilla Mixta" is OK if you are fine with the variety and will eat the sausage, chicken, and pork portions. Otherwise, getting a plate with one specific meat, like the Picanha Plato, is another way to go. Everything about our dining experiences here was perfect, and we'd certainly come back. read more

It was very good, however, I feel that the cheese could've been grilled a little longer to show more of the grill marks and so the cheese could be melted or at least warm inside. Tried El Churrascaso Grill and went for the 3 lb mixed grill platter, definitely a feast! The assortment of meats (chicken, sausage, tenderloin, steak, and picanha) were all really good and packed with flavor. The platter also comes with 2 sides. We went with avocado and fries, plus added a side of rice. The portion size was great, easily feeds 3-4 people depending on how hungry you are. They also have on the house chimichurri at every table, which paired perfectly with the meats. Service was fast and friendly, and the food came out hot and fresh. Only downside is that the space feels a little tight since the tables are pretty close together, so you can definitely hear conversations from the tables around you. While dining there, I witnessed the manager publicly degrade and belittle my waitress, Juana, in front of customers. It was incredibly uncomfortable and completely unprofessional. Juana had been kind, attentive, and doing her job well, yet the way the manager spoke to her was disrespectful and humiliating. The situation made the entire atmosphere tense and unpleasant. It was so disturbing that I couldn't even finish my meal. No customer should have to watch an employee be treated like that while they're trying to enjoy dinner. Businesses should support and respect their staff, not tear them down in front of guests. Seeing someone treated that way was upsetting and left a terrible impression. Because of this experience, I will absolutely not be returning, and I refuse to support a business that treats its employees so poorly. read more

I ate outside one time which I listed the food and drinks that appitetizercould have at least fed 3 of my guests. The drinks here are really good no complaints there. The service is wonderful even though most speak Spanish they would accommodate you with someone who speaks English. The ambiance of the place it is a small quaint cozy place and now they have some outdoor seating which I love since we live in Florida. What I do not reccomend at all is ordering food to pick up because it was a waste of my money and time. I live 40 minutes away and was so I was highly disappointed that I couldn't even feed my guest.
