    Tacos Pollo

Stopped here for lunch today while shopping in Fishtown. Food hit the spot, I got the chicken tacos and my daughter tried the shrimp tacos. Food came out fast and our server was very friendly. Looks like a cute neighborhood spot.

Mahi mahi tacos & Iced Horchata Latte

I ordered the mahi mahi tacos ($18) and the iced oat milk horchata ($6). The horchata was amazing but the tacos were bland. I wish they came with more flavorful toppings or a side of salsa. However, when I asked for hot sauce they gave me a habanero sauce that was delicious (and hot)! The vibes of this place are great, the kiosk ordering was easy, and the people working there were friendly. For the prices, I just wish the food was better.

Al pastor sandwich, Quesabirria tacos and Arroz con tres leches

We got the Quesabirria Tacos and Al Pastor Tradicional Cemitas (puebla style sandwich) as well as the Arroz Con Tres Leches (rice pudding + tres leches + strawberries) for dessert. Everything was delicious but I thought it was slightly expensive considering it is "street style" and you get the food as takeout in disposable containers. $20 for 3 small tacos and $18 for 1 sandwich which looks nothing like they advertise on their instagram page. The stew with the Quesabirria tacos was especially super runny, usually it is supposed to have some richness to it. It was honestly like flavored water. The outdoor patio space is beautiful and cozy.

Pretty good! The chips & guac were excellent. I got the chicken cemitas. I'd give this sandwich 4 stars. It wasn't that interesting, but fairly good. The mahi mahi tacos were very good

    Mushroom milanesa torta

New Mexican spot in Fishtown where heffe tacos used to be. This is an outdoor space with the option of self serve kiosks. There also seem to be QR codes that you can order from your phone. There is also an option to order with a human. Overall food was great. We were nervous about the price point but the quality and quantity of the meal made up for it. Love that they have veggie options for both the torta and tacos. The tacos árabe had some standard size tortillas and my partner was extremely full with his 3 tacos, so that was good. I could barely finish my torta, it had a generous amping of avocado and mushrooms. Super tasty! Can't wait to come back!

Great burrito. But, can we get chips and salsa instead of fries. I don't want fries. I want some tortilla chips.

Best authentic Mexican tacos in Philly, puts the mexican restaurants in NoLibs to shame. Exceptionally good tacos.

Cantina is a restaurant in a refurbished bar. It still feels like the old corner bar. Lighting is…read moresubdued but you can still see the menu. Booths and bar seating is available as well as a patio on weekends. It is located in a sketchy area but a police car is stationed on the corner. I felt as safe as I do in other areas of Philly. Street parking is available within a few feet. The cocktails were very good with many different kinds of margs and other drinks. Beer and wine are also available. We were greeted as soon s we walked in by both the bartender and one of the owners. Our server brought water as soon as we sat down. She was attentive and helpful with explanations. The food here is authentic! Several different kinds of guacamole are available. We chose the one with pomegranate. It added a nice crunch and flavor. One with grasshopper was available. lol that was a no for me! The trio of empanadas were delicious. We shared a carnitas taco platter and branzino platter. The tacos were tasty. The branzino was cooked nicely with good flavor. The rice and beans and Brussels spouts and mushrooms were all delicious. I'll definitely be back!

Good: old fashioned, tri-mix of guac (liked the truffle one), steak tacos. Not so good:coco tartare app, I thought most of the other tacos were tried were very okay for the price and would not recommend (shrimp, pastor (one of my least favorite versions of pastor), one with habaenro (not spicy at all). Would have enjoyed some actual spicy salsa to go with it. Overall, I sadly can't really recommend it.
