3 Quesabirria Tacos with Spicy Avocado sauce

I ordered delivery for 3 Quesabirria tacos a few weeks back and they delivered so quickly. The food was still hot which I appreciate. The tacos were a generous size and easily could be split between two people. Loved the flavor on the tacos but the birria was a little too salty for my taste. I would give them a try again soon!

Sooooooo GOOD amd prices are hard to beat esp in Center City area live the shrimo tacos so much, I've been back twice this week. Lol A nice space to sit upstairs. Order and sit. Quick and easy. Chips are handmade and good. One of my new go-to's.

This is a nice authentic Mexican food spot that I enjoyed trying. I got the Santa Fe enchilada style burrito. It was nice and saucy with crunchy chips and cheese on the side. I would have preferred less rice and more beans next time. Service was good and there is additional seating and a restroom upstairs.

Nora Kitchen may seem like a small restaurant, but they have plenty of spacious seating upstairs. The service was quick; I believe I received my order within 10 minutes.I got three chicken tacos, which were really meaty and filling. The sauces brought out the flavor of the chicken nicely, and they provided a generous amount for each taco. Overall, it was good for a one-time try. I probably should have purchased more toppings to enhance the taste.

AMAZING service. Great BYOB as well as of my favorite places to go on south st. Don't miss out on greatness if you are in the area. Food is amazing but the ambiance is even better. Love it here. 10/10. Highly recommend

Atmosphere: Nora's is a fast food restaurant that serves Mexican Classics. The space inside the restaurant is very small - only a few tables and chairs, a front counter, and kiosks on the side counter for customers to input their orders. I went during the weekend when there was a street festival outside, so the restaurant was packed with customers waiting for their orders. They also have a small outdoor seating area for customer overflow. Service: This was really quick - I ordered my food via the self-service kiosk and got my tacos after 15 minutes. As far as I could tell, you needed to wait until the person at the front yelled your name to know when your order was ready. Food: I got three, jam-packed Birria Beef Tacos which came with two sauce sides and a few limes. Overall, the food was savory, flavorful, and filling! I had the save the two other tacos that I couldn't finish in one sitting. Tips: If you are waiting outside like me - after 15-minutes of putting in your order, check with the front counter to see if it's ready. More than likely it is!

Taco combo: ground beef & chorizo, Spicy Cucumber, Rice and Beans

While visiting from out of state, we popped into this small taco spot, and it was a delicious experience! You get the ease of ordering on a tablet which made the process quick and convenient. I loved the option to select different types of tacos when ordering a 2 taco combo - a great way to sample their variety. The food was exceptionally fresh and delicious, from the flavorful tacos to the spicy cucumbers and the tasty rice & beans. The quick service was also a plus. Highly recommended!

Kind of a far drive but it's worth it! Everything I have tried so far has been amazing, definitely worth checking it out.

Booths and bar seating is available as well as a patio on weekends. It is located in a sketchy area but a police car is stationed on the corner. I felt as safe as I do in other areas of Philly. We were greeted as soon s we walked in by both the bartender and one of the owners. Our server brought water as soon as we sat down. She was attentive and helpful with explanations. The food here is authentic! Several different kinds of guacamole are available. We chose the one with pomegranate. It added a nice crunch and flavor. One with grasshopper was available. lol that was a no for me! The trio of empanadas were delicious. We shared a carnitas taco platter and branzino platter. The tacos were tasty. The branzino was cooked nicely with good flavor. The rice and beans and Brussels spouts and mushrooms were all delicious. I'll definitely be back!

The meat in the tacos was so dry that it was hard to chew and swallow. Some of the pieces were cooked to a crisp. No amount of salsa could make them better. I'm sorry I didn't take photos of the tacos, but trust me me I get no pleasure from leaving a bad review for this place; I am not lying or exaggerating. I thought they were going to be one of our local gems. I choked down a half a taco, gave the rest to my husband and he couldn't eat them either. The churros actually had raw batter in the middle and the outside was rubbery and hard at the same time. You could barely bite through it. I'm a cook and I know that that is about keeping the oil at an even temperature to get the inside done and not overcook the outside. Someone in the kitchen did not know what they were doing. The thing is, I have had their food before and it was pretty good. I don't know if there is a new chef or what happened, but I can't trust them after this experience.

Honestly El Rey is great!…read more As a Los Angeles native, Mexican food is always a "not as good as California" affair, and with that bar, it's hard to find anything that holds a candle. But El Rey is good in its own right, taking familiar foods and flavors, with a bit of a fancier twist, and making a good meal that I love to eat and enjoy! Seating and service here is friendly and prompt. Even when it's pretty loud and seems packed, there are always a handful of open tables available, where we've usually been able to be seated almost immediately. Such was the case this evening. We were on a bit of a time crunch so we ordered immediately and our food came out so fast that the waiter for our table was surprised as the food beat him with our napkins to the table. We ordered the Tuna Tostada and the Yucatan Spiced Chicken Fajitas. Both were amazing! Good thing for our tight timeline, the food was gone as fast as it came. The waiter helpfully recommend the house hot sauce, which was certainly spicy and a good compliment on our fajitas. Overall, a great place to dine for Mexican-inspired! Laying aside my California bias, El Rey is a fun time every time we come.

I hadn't been to El Rey in years, but we scored last-minute Valentine's reservations and WOW. The vibe was lively, warm, and perfect for a fun night out. - Let's talk about these STEAK TACOS . Perfectly seasoned, tender, flavorful -- the kind of bite that makes you close your eyes for a second. They were so good I came back two days later just for them. That's not a craving... that's infatuation. - The Chayote Salad completely surprised me. Fresh, bright, and paired with their homemade hot sauce? My palate was awakened. I even brought it home (with dressing and hot sauce on the side) and it still hit! Speaking of heat -- if you love spicy food, ASK for their homemade hot sauce. It's bold, fiery, and addictive. I genuinely want a bottle for home. Service? 10/10. From the manager to the hosts to the bartender -- everyone was kind, attentive, and patient. They even remembered me from Valentine's Day, which says everything about how they treat their guests. Bathroom Check: Clean? Yes. Cute ambiance? Yes. Great mirror for photos? Absolutely. There were booths, tables and bar seating available with Wonder Years playing on a few TVs with warm lighting and the incandescent Christmas lights that are reminiscent of Grandma's house (bonus points for nostalgia!) I requested a booth and she promptly sat me. She brought me water, menus and explained the specials to me. As I perused the menu, I was overwhelmed with the options available to me. I ultimately landed on one of the dinner specials (Cabernet braised brisket with a side of carrots & buttery mashed potatoes), chips & salsa and a Paloma. Chips landed first and while both salsas were fresh, I still felt the need to add salt. (Everyone's palate is different) Food & drink arrived simultaneously. Paloma was made strong but tasted more like a classic margarita as opposed to the tang of grapefruit that comes with a Paloma. Still good! The food was essentially cold & looked like it had been sitting for awhile being served to me but all the flavors were there. The brisket fell apart, I didn't even need a knife to cut it. The carrots were tender and the mashed potatoes were buttery. I would 1000% go back for the drinks and service, however I may get something different on the menu.
