I first learned about this restaurant, taking a food tour called "the enchilada food tour" with Oscar a.k.a. The Man. The tour consisted of visiting five locally owned restaurants in Valle Dorado, which is a small town near Puerto Vallarta. You'll only find locals here, but I visit Valle Dorado every year since 2021 from Austin, TX (USA) for these freaking tacos. No other reason. (Maybe other reasons like the beach and the great people lol). Whenever I have a taco I forget why I'm in Mexico other than to savor the deliciousness of that soft, perfectly seasoned,
slightly greasy suadero (brisket). It's incomparable to any other self proclaimed"best taco" of its kind. My only desire is that I had more room in my belly to eat more than 4 and to take 100 tacos to go with me back to the United States.
Miguel is the owner and he's clearly gifted whether he knows it or not. And his wife is a gem. She's attentive and ensures your visit is always a pleasant one. She's also very quick to add / order additional tacos after your first round because believe me, you'll be ordering a second round!
