Tempura roll

It's difficult to find sushi in arvin but this place does a good job offering different sushi options with a Mexican twist. The restaurant is super clean, and staff is friendly. I asked to order a vegetable w/ avocado roll (without any seafood/fish) and they were super sweet and made one. We ordered to go and they added spoon/fork/napkin individually wrapped. The chile and grilled onions were a plus to this meal and added a slight of spiciness.

Buffalo shrimp fries

Delicious mariscos and Mexican-fusion sushi rolls. Had the Buffalo shrimp fries, Habia and Spicy rolls, and strawberry lemonade. All very good.

Whhhy did I NOT know!?!…read more C Fresh is the spot! I was craving seafood but I had no clue what to do with that craving. Well....C fresh did! It's located on the fringe of downtown in the Maya Cinemas Center. I was pointed that direction and decided I wasn't going to over think it and I'm so glad I didn't! It's a corner spot that's super clean, with a fisherman wharf vibe! But the beat boy music was EVERYTHING! And when I saw a family with bibs and butcher paper rolled out I knew we were going to have fun! Yes their menu has the coolest seafood boils and all the flavors. But it has pages of other deliciousness too..... this is where I began to DROOL! I hit the happy hour and got the Calamari to start and at the server's suggestion: THE SHRIMP PAN ROAST! write that down you'll want to remember to order it! And the Mango sticky bites and ice cream to finish! For once in my life I made ALL THE RIGHT DECISIONS! This place is fantastic and completely unassuming! I can't wait to use this has a true foodie hat trick, it's impressive y'all!! Fresh, Fun, and financially friendly..... other than a seafood allergy ( but they do got wings) you need to seriously check them out!

I don't understand what would make it sweet !?!? we asked for it to be hot ( cajun , lemon pepper, butter /garlic) and when we are washing our hands some type of pink dye was coming off of our hands the crushed ice was probably the best thing there the lemons were fresh other than that I have no good words to say about the actual food we spent over $200 and we left feeling so disappointed& disgusted.

If you avoid fried food you need to know that Ale's hand breads their Seafood. This means you can order yours GRILLED! My favorites are grilled catfish and scallops with lemon pepper. Their coleslaw is delicious so I get double and skip the fries. We frequently go to the Central Coast and even there Ale's Seafood in Ridgecrest is often better! The decor is super fun and reggae music is a beach lover's choice. The servers are great here, so friendly and careful to get it your way. Ridgecrest, treat yourself more often at Ale's Crab House and your body will thank you!

Stopping on my way to Anaheim and Ale's came up as one of the highest rated places. It was…read moredefinitely decent. Just gotta drop a star because our waitress was a bit short and irritable, and the food was really nothing crazy amazing. Ended up having the shrimp and lobster fries appetizer which was pretty yummy, the shrimp on it is the best part. Even the kids loved the fries and ended up also splitting a chicken sandwich that was pretty basic, but cooked well and had a tasty bun. Wife and I split a pastrami burger, and gotta say the pastrami was really good, that was a great choice. It had a bunch of creamy cheese sauce on it as well and was gone in seconds. Ambiance was fine, place was really clean, and service was SUPER QUICK. One critique is when we asked for extra plates to split out food, the waitress told us they were out of plates because they used them all on the party that was in there. This was at max a party of 10, and the restaurant had to only have 10 more people in it total. Kinda weird to be out of plates at 20% capacity... she did end up getting us additional "trays" to use. Totally fine, just a bit odd. All in all, if you need some quick grub, stop in here on your way through. Price was pretty fair, 2 burgers, and an appetizer with ice teas for $50. Decent.
