Overall score is 4.5/5 stars only because we've only had limited contact here so far. I will another update when we do more. They have good customer service when shopping for a vehicle. Rogelio was very helpful in showing us various cars that may fit our requirements. Jesse, the manager, also worked hard to help us. We looked at many really nice vehicles but couldn't find the exact one with all the bells & whistles we wanted. We bought our truck somewhere else only because we found an awesome deal with all we wanted and more. Some of the prices on new trucks were, surprisingly, quite good too. Prices are set though and they don't seem to want to discuss them-guess that's after you go in the offices. The reviews on service concern me a bit (until I looked at their other reviewers they have one and/or mostly negative). Our truck is under warranty so we get to try it for ourselves. We bought and paid for for fender liners and the installation on elcentromotors.com . It is great to go online, find what you need and they will ship it to you or the dealership. When you do this, they ship them to the Ford dealership you chose. We then called to see that the liners were there and to make the appointment. The cost of the liners (which were an add on) and installation was very reasonable. We pulled in the service drive and immediately were greeted and taken to Jose Mercado in service to get our paperwork filled out. Jose got the paperwork sorted out (we were the first online order here!) and the truck went in to service. It didn't take long and we were done. The liners looked great and will make it so much easier to get the dirt/mud off. They also did a really good systems check that let us know all was well. We didn't realize they did this and it is a great customer service idea. I recommend Jose Mercado in the service department. He was very nice and professional. I agreed to buy expensive new truck at the price advertised on internet. Then they said they had to have another $1,000. I reluctantly agreed to that. Deal was made on a holiday, next day I went to my bank and got a cashier's check for the full amount. While walking back to my car, I got a call saying the truck wasn't available. This dealer has NO INTEGRITY. Months later I met their guy at an event. I strongly expressed my displeasure with that deal and he told me to "F*#k off". For the record, I am a 72 year old US Army retired Master Sergeant. In the last 35 years I have bought exactly 50 vehicles. This dealer is the worst. Wish I could give them zero stars. read more

I don't write many reviews, but I had to go out of my way to provide a review as the service department at El Centro Motors went above and beyond to provide us with excellent service when we needed it the most. AJ was the service manager and Jeff was the technician that help us with our Ford F250 diesel. We were coming from San Diego. On our way to Parker and our truck stopped working in El Centro. Without an appointment and a bit of a panic I called El Centro Motors, where they transferred me to AJ. When we arrived, he put his best diesel technician on our truck to assist. Bad all around. (Called Thursday, October 17, 2019 around 1pm) Jeovan Alonzo along with his manager Luis Sotelo and finance manager Ricardo Solis and this company TRICKED me. I was co-signing for someone but turns out they LIED to us and did all the paperwork under my name and credit ONLY!! Instead of being honest and letting the customer know they didn't qualify at all in any way, they tricked them by saying "all they needed was a co-signer" then proceeded to trick me, the co-signer, by NEVER mentioning I was the primary owner of the vehicle. Their incompetence is matched only by their dishonesty. Took my car in to get the calipers replaced. Took them two days to put on a set of rear calipers, then called and said they had the wrong parts and couldnt put on the front calipers. They still charged me for the labor on the front even though they didnt replace the parts, and it was double the quoted labor cost too. read more

They did not have the Edge I wanted but told me I could order and they would deliver it to the Coachella Valley. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change at 8 in the morning for my Volkswagen Jetta since Imperial Valley Volkswagen doesn't have their own service department. It is now 10:55am as I write this review and was told that it would take an additional 30-40 minutes due to a "software update" but the oil change is done. I don't understand how an oil change can take nearly 3 hours to do. The staff were friendly but the service department needs to pick up the pace. When I walked in el central motors ,no one was doing anything they where just sitting around . After 10 minutes of waiting to see if someone was going to help me , I had to actually look for help. Wow, ok , So I had to call fiesta ford in Indio where I bought the truck because they gave me a better deal and they said bring it over. A major good job by AJ in service today. After ordering in a part covered by warranty he oversaw the installation of the trim. I drive away and because he'd had my car washed I noticed a small dent. I turned around thinking it had happened during the service. He politely and professionally showed me the pictures from when I'd dropped it off showing that it was already there. Hi I went in to see if I could get a car with el centro motors talked to a guy by the name of Luis castelo which happens to be one of the sales supervisors there....just wanted to get a lil used car nuthing expensive so I could rebuilt my credit well found a Toyota camary that seemed ok daily in good condition little did I kno that entertainment system was useless, when I talked to this guy Luis he assured me he would take care of it which a month in half later he tells me the car was sold as is. He couldn't do anything about it, I feel like this guy lied to me cause if he would of told me gps didn't work I wouldn't gotten that camary from my experience at this dealer they lie to you and they dnt care about customer satisfaction. Not a very good service appt. I was told they needed my car for a day and half and they kept the car 5 days. The service tech told me that they overbooked and my car was the last one to get worked on. Also, this was the 3rd time I took make car in for the same problem. The dealer would only do electronic programming on my car when the real problem was a defective clutch which was ultimately replaced. Now I have to wait to see if this problem gets resolved. This has been a bad experience altogether and I feel less than satisfied with my car purchase at this time. I also have a problem with the way my car was returned. I had just washed my car when I took it in to the dealer and it was returned to me full of dust. What ever happened to complimentary car washes. Its bad enough I was inconvenienced for the 3rd time for a recall issue that should have been resolved on the first visit. read more

The day I picked up my truck when I got there the truck was prepped, washed and parked out front. I was greeted with a smile. they got me in and out of finance in less than an half and hour. Service Department- my Ford Focus stereo and A/C went out and I had an appointment for the 22nd of August which was over 22 days from when I called. I was disappointed because my warranty was up at 75000 and I was at 74200 and I drive 110 miles round trip to Yuma AZ and back home. Well long story short I went in the next morning after my A/C went out and spoke with AJ and explained that I had to drive home in 115 degree heat for an hour the day before with no A/C or stereo and I couldn't afford to wait until the 22nd. They took my car in the same day and fixed it in 3 days!!! I am so happy with the service and how fast and nice they were! And AJ is Awesome!!! read more

The customer service in the Service Department was below satisfactory. They had my car for 6 days before they started working on it. During that time, they never once called to provide my an update. I had to be calling daily to get information. They would say they couldn't get in contact with the warranty company and would call me back and they never did. It took them that long to contact my warranty company. I was able to contact the warranty company in a matter of minutes. When I was about to pick up my car, they finally were able to contact the company and begin working on the car. I finally got my car on the ninth day. I did receive a call the day after to let me know that they had charged my incorrectly and that I had to go in and pay the difference. I have never received such below standard service in any other dealership in the Imperial Valley. read more

They don't even deserve one star. My husband took our car on a Tuesday at 7AM. He didn't get a call back until 5PM. Our AC system wasn't working, it needed a new compressor. It is now Friday of the following week 10 days later, My husband called (He called, they didn't call him) they told him, "nearly an impossible job to get done today" and "if you bring it it, we cannot guarantee that it will be done today". The compressor arrived but no one bothered calling us. We are going out of town, driving down the highway without AC. Great job at ruining our mini vacation! I should mention that the car is under warranty otherwise we would have not taken it there. Add insult to injury they are not working on our car until Tuesday because I'm assuming Monday would be near impossible too! What a joke of a business! read more

Altho I like Ford cars, I will never buy another one - my late husband was a 40-yr Ford customer in El Centro & the 22 yrs we were married we bought Fords & 2 Lincolns. Two yrs ago this month my 2004 Taurus broke down on me in Yuma, AZ, 60 miles from home. I had AAA tow me to EC & after about a week was told I needed a new transmission, after another week I got my car back on Wed afternoon. Sunday morning I left for Fresno to meet my niece, we were catching a 6 am flight Monday morning for vacation, a vacation that had been booked & paid for since January. In the desert in the middle of no where, my car quit running - I was stranded alone, I called AAA & they recommended have my car towed home since it was Sunday & everything was closed. After a $700 towing bill & $500 flight to Fresno, El Centro Ford relations says there is nothing they can do about all my xtra expenses because nothing was under warranty. Ford replaced the transmission - the only thing wrong, but I was out $1,200 because of a faulty 3-1/2 day old transmission. The manager in El Centro said so sorry, but nothiny they could do. So much for customer relations. I took my car to the service department at 9 am to get a estimate it took all day until 5 pm just to tell me what's wrong. They told me that it will cost $2000 so I told them ill think about it. It was to late to call back with an answer. I called the next day to say ok go ahead with the repairs, an hour passed and I got a phone call telling me that they cant work or order the parts until I pay half the amount up front. Its not a policy they told me but a warranty, that I wont change my mine on them. They said that the owner made this up so that the costumer pays have down before working or ordering the parts. It sounded very fishy, So I said no. I took my car to pep boys in El Centro for $600 less and life time warranty. There lost. I just want to let all customers know this is how they do it at ford in El Centro no trust at all. Not all the workers there know how to explain this (no policy) but warranty to the customers. read more
