I've been coming here for a couple of years because it's the closest location to me and conveniently on routes I drive regularly. And in all that time? Zero improvement. Traffic Chaos Every Single Time You can barely get in because the line wraps around the corner. There are what feels like 70 employees standing around, yet no one directing traffic. It's one-way in, but people are allowed to pull into vacuum areas, fill every spot, then attempt to reverse out into active traffic because there's no exit flow. So now you're backing up to let them out. It's gridlock by design. And people cutting the line? Constant. No oversight. No management presence. Vacuums & Cleanliness Half the vacuums don't work. Trash bins are overflowing. It's never clean. You finally get through the entrance circus only to wait another 15-20 minutes in line for what's supposed to be a "speedy" wash. The only time it's manageable is super early in the morning or Sunday mornings -- mostly Uber and Lyft drivers monopolizing vacuum spaces. The Final Straw: Customer Service On this last visit, the payment machine didn't work (which happens often). I asked for assistance. The person who identified himself as a manager immediately told me my "credit was bad" -- without checking anything -- and followed that with "maybe you should pay your bills." Completely unprofessional. Completely unnecessary. And completely wrong. It turned out to be an administrative error in their system. I canceled my membership on the spot. At best, that interaction was rude and incompetent. At worst, it felt intentionally provocative and racially charged. Either way, it was unacceptable. Bottom Line This location is disorganized, poorly managed, overcrowded, and consistently frustrating. After years of giving it chances because of proximity, I'm done. If you choose to go to this Airport/LeJeune location, go at your own risk. You've been warned. read more

The young lady at the entrance was very nice however the car wash missed most of the bottom third of both sides of the car. I had driven on dirt roads and had mud, still there after paying $30 for the car wash. Called customer service, offered to send pictures showing the dirt and was told it's a fast car Wash and there are paper towels at the end I could use to wipe it off myself. I drive a Hyundai, he said the car wash does not fit some model cars, apparently not mine. Had hoped to be able to add pictures here, don't see how. Won't be going there again... My husband went to their office and cancelled them in person, yet they continued billing us anyway. I called last week and was assured this would not happen again, but guess what? With El Carwash what you see is what you get, and that is a perfectly good car wash! This location is a little confusing, as you vacuum before your wash, so be sure to take note of that before you are stuck in a one way like me. Other than that, it has all the fixings of a good and affordable car wash that will not take forever. Do not use this service! I WAS a member who in the past has had expected results with the service. Yesterday I went to the location at 1060 East Commercial Blvd. Oakland Park, FL 33334. I went through the car wash and emerged covered in soap. I went around for a second wash and the young lady apologized, we shared a laugh as she got me in line for a second wash. At the end of the 2nd wash the gas cap cover of my 2 year old Mercedes was missing. I went to the office to advise and found 4 employees who LAUGHED at my request for help. I was told to "Read the signs" they are not responsible and to come back the next day to retrieve the part that they confirmed on video was there prior to the wash. I called customer service who advised there are "no telephone numbers to call individual locations" I requested a supervisor to resolve and was told after speaking to Gerardo I would receive a call back in 2 to 3 business days. He went on to ask me for an incident report number, it was the responsibility of the customer to request one from the same staff that I mentioned above. This will no doubt be the most expensive car wash i have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. read more

I came here recently as my vehicle was in need of a vacuum and a bath. I'm usually pretty vigilant about keeping it clean, but while working from home during the pandemic I've not driven as often and I've been to the beach a few times and took the dog to the park a bunch, so my vehicle needed attention both inside and out. My usual self-service car wash demolished, so I came here looking for an alternative. When one pulls in, you have complimentary access to a vacuum and a floor mat cleaning system, which I was happy about because both were needed. Once vacuuming was done, I was able to get some wipes from the vending machine to do the windows and the upholstery. Afterward, I pulled up to the car wash itself where there were 2 lanes, one for those who hold a monthly pass that allows them to come here and have their car washed as often as they'd like, and another for people who either have a membership or are paying for a single wash. As soon as I pulled up to the screen and began to follow the easy to understand prompts to select my wash and pay, an attendant RAN over to me "Ho! Ho!! You know about the membership specials we're offering this month??" I explained that no El Car Wash locations are near my home and I don't want a membership, just a single wash. He then asked which one I wanted, though I'd already selected it, and he took my card from me so he could insert it into the machine for me for some reason (I thought I was doing OK on my own up until that point). I didn't need a receipt, a few seconds later the gate automatically raised to let me pull up, drive my left front tire into the guide track, place my car in neutral and let the system pull my car through as it did its job. The biggest thing I appreciated about the wash itself is that they use spinning and oscillating chamois to truly clean the exterior of your car. While I sometimes use the car washes at gas stations that just use high pressure water jets, they simply don't do as thorough a job as the ones that use the spinning cloths to truly clean your car and leave it shiny. The best part about El Car Wash is the value. Considering how much I'd spend in the coin self-service car wash to vacuum and then wash my own car by hand, I got a really good wash here and my car looks great. It was a lot less manual work on my part, and the price was nearly the same. read more

Beware is a scam. I got the "promotion" where you get the wash with waxing and I have yet to see they putting waxing on my car. They always have an elderly person guiding the cars in and choosing the programs, which has nothing wrong, but the problem is that you cannot really argue why they didn't put the wax you're paying for. I have been in different location 3 times since I got "the promotion" and none of them I got the waxing. You can check it why passing you're bare finger and if you hear a squeaking sound, then you didn't get waxing. On the other note, the wheels come out always VERY dirty. Used to be one of the best drive thru car wash in Miami. Why ? Every equipment that washes your car WAS made of microfiber specially the side rollers. My new car never had scuffs or whirls.
