Nice lake for San Diego but the $ 10.00 Water contact Fee per person that's on the boat or jet ski above the lunch fee is ridiculous. Even Lake Tahoe and Donner Lake That have the strictest boating Pollution laws in the country don't charge a Water contact fee. I can guarantee you the fishermen are peeing in the water far more than the recreational boaters. There is very few spots to place a Easy up shade tent or even park a boat or jet ski on the shoreline. The shoreline drops of into deep water VERY quickly! I'm listing this as not good for young kids or bad swimmers do to the quick drop off of the shoreline!

There was nothing to see! It's used mostly for fishing. Not impressed at all... The drive there was somewhat scenic.

The bathrooms and hot showers were clean and well-maintained. The fish cleaning area and sink were spotless. Trash on the ground or in the water was a rare sight to see. For $58 a night, it was a great value. I had a nice view of the lake, too. After I checked-in and set up the campsite, with my tent, and a small camping table, I rented a rowboat for $25, good for five hours, so that I could go fishing. The walk between the campground and boat rental dock is about 25 minutes each way if you're using the shorter route. The lake itself is very clean. Though I would not drink the water from Lake Jennings without a water filter, out of curiosity, I did put some of Lake Jennings' water into an empty water bottle to see how clear the water is. To my surprise, the water is completely clear! While I was sitting in the rowboat, I noticed lots of different birds--bluebirds, coots, ducks, geese, grebes, hawks, herons, hummingbirds, osprey, sparrows, vultures, woodpeckers, a few others I wasn't sure what they were. Anyway, after the first hour of having my rod cast, I didn't think I would catch anything and began to lose hope. However, as the afternoon started to cool, under the mature trees, off the shoreline, just opposite west of the rental dock, my fishing line started to pull. I quickly reeled the line in and realized that this was a pretty big fish. I dipped my net into the water, to get the fish into the boat. I used my handheld fish scale and the catfish weighed just over eight pounds!! (I used homemade bait made up of oatmeal and fresh garlic, rolled up in a peanut butter ball, that I prepared the night before. Also, the line was about 15 feet under water.) After I caught the one fish, I returned the boat, and went back to the campsite to clean and cook it. I cooked the fish using a portable camping grill grate--with a bit of olive oil, a liberal amount of fresh herbs (oregano, parsley, thyme, diced garlic, and Hungarian sweet paprika), and lemon--over an open fire, in the fire ring, that they have in each campsite. I used Lucela mesquite charcoal to fuel the campfire. The catfish was high quality and delicious--easily the best catfish that I have tasted, in my life, to date. At night, the campground was completely quiet, even on a weekend night. The night sky was nice, too. However, the lake's management is strict about having all campfires extinguished by 11:00 PM. The next morning, I had planned to cook breakfast, but decided to sleep in. At about 11:30 AM, I checked out. Checkout time is before 12:00 PM (noon). Overall, this was a perfect little one-night trip. Hopefully, I will return in the future. If I ever do come back, I'll probably make it a two-night trip, so that I can explore more of the lake, and maybe aim to catch a crappie, sunfish, or trout.

We make the short drive up on Wednesday and spend the night before heading back home mid Thanksgiving morning. It is always a lot of fun. Bex family all love fishing and the lake provides ample opportunity. Stocked regularly with trout. They all caught their share. The spots are spacious. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The facilities and the grounds are clean and maintained. Prices are very reasonable. Besides camping, Lake Jennings offers boating (you can rent a boat or bring your own), hiking. There's on-site horseshoe pits too. If not camping, you can just spend the day if you want to. Lots of great picnic areas. We've always loved Lake Jennings. It was our favorite campground when we had our RV. We look forward to getting back into camping.

After calling Cristina to confirm the reservation, I received a text with the same information, and to call if I had any questions. Information is easy to find either through the website or by phone. I booked a two hour excursion on their comfortable pontoon that seats 12, plus Josh, our amiable and entertaining captain. The location was easy to find, parking was plentiful for all of my friends. I loved that you were able to bring pets, and also food and drink (minus red wine- it stains)! Ice was available to purchase, and they were very accommodating if you needed to use the restroom before, during, or after the trip! Check-in and check-out was easy with Charzale's help. It was a fun surprise to be awarded co-captain's hats for mine and my friend's birthdays! We hooked up to the Bluetooth for some music. The tunes were alot louder towards the rear of the boat than at the bow because that's where the speakers were located. So if you wanted to have more conversation, either turn it down or move to the front :) Time flies when you're having fun, and it felt like minutes instead of hours. I would absolutely book this again, perhaps a sunset ride or even a longer trip. I would love to try out the kayaks, paddleboats, and maybe even the jet skis. Everyone loved the cruise and talked about coming back again soon! Thank you so much R&R!

Called DCB and Eric (outstanding rep and tech) made room for us in his yard, minutes before they closed, to repair the hydraulic steering system and install a quick-connect fresh water flush system. The outstanding customer service we've received coupled with the high caliber boats they have in the yard instantly let you know this is THE place to go for quality work and no BS. Will update this review after the repairs are effected to share the whole story! : ) Thanks so far to Eric and the DCB Team!!!

BEWARE!!! I hate to…read morebe the one doing this as a business owner myself but the way these people treated me with the money, I was going to spend with them is unreal. I was put in contact with (ANDY) DCB on the week of 1/31/2022-2/5/2022. After reviewing a boat with Andy, we came to a agreement at $425k on a used M31 That was in taken apart with the drive removed off the boat, shook Andy's hand and told him I wanted to take it get it put back together and ready for a test drive. I know nothing about the boat or motors. Please give me a list of recommended service as well as cost. Buying a DCB from DBC themselves you would think that would be easy. He told me that i would need to give him $25,000 and $5000.00 nonrefundable if i didn't buy the boat for any reason. Started getting a run around with Andy and couldn't get straight answers, i contacted a few friends that own boats. they put me in contact with the owner Chase with is very knowledgeable and ran through the whole boat with me amazing guy, was pretty shocked DCB couldn't feed me information like chase did. I told chase i was going to buy his boat i feel good about buying a used boat from a person like himself straight shooter. Andy got all upset i contacted the owner and decided to attack me over the phone, i explained to him in a nice way he sucked at his job and created doubt as a buyer from the lack of knowledge given. i also explained no one was backing dooring you in anyway the sale was going through DCB. 2/3/2022 - I was a little upset about the phone call we had when he attacked me, so in our conversation i advised Andy that I know he damaged the boat and tore the seat and the owner didn't know that happen as (in our seeing of the boat he blamed owner and said he would pay), His blame then changed and blamed another shop for damaging it. Pretty sad the blame was pointed everywhere but them self as they had possession of the boat. Very scarry for future consignment customers. later that night on 2/3/2022 I received a text from Andy that i have till 4:00 Pm on 2/4/2022 to pay him $425,000.00 for a boat that is all taken apart, didn't even hear it run never mind a test drive. or he was going to get boat serviced which cost $6,000 and charge me another $25,000 to buy the boat and the price was going to go up to $450,000 After the falling out with Andy, a buddy of mine that owns a DCB told me to contact tony he would handle it. I contacted tony on 2/4/2022 and spoke with him and our first talk on the phone He processed to talk over me and take about an unrelated subject (politicks / California life), I finally got him on track when i was allowed to talk to explain what was going on. after explaining the situation that i already agreed to the boat at $425k he said he would get in contact with Andy to get the boat put back together for a test ride to finalize up the deal. was a very rough conversation tony seems to like talking over you very bad for business and respect for a customer. He told me he would call me back that day or call me the following day to get everything handled. I received a Groupe message from tony and Andy telling me their backing out the deal boat isn't for sale the decided they were going to service the boat and make me pay another $25,000 to buy the boat. I advise everyone to run for the hills do not buy from these guys when your spending close to 1/2 Million on a boat in no way shape or form should you be treated in any such way as they have.
