It had been quite some time since my last visit, and stepping back inside reminded me exactly why this place is an absolute standout. I was escorted to a wonderfully private table, which allowed for a perfectly serene dining experience despite how busy they were. The service was entirely impeccable from start to finish. I began the afternoon by speaking with my attentive waiter and ordering a classic Bloody Mary, which was mixed to absolute perfection. For my selection from the menu, I chose the Deviled Farm Eggs, and they were a total culinary triumph deeply satisfying and beautifully presented. We also stopped by the rooftop bar which had beautiful views and a nice relaxed vibe. I had coffee at the bar in the morning and it was phenomenal--a toasted marshmellow iced latte with white chocolate cold cream! Beyond the rooms and restaurant the whole hotel has a welcoming stylish atmosphere that makes you feel like you're staying somewhere special. It is good access to I-20, clean, good beds, the indoor pool is great. But nothing makes up for poor planning and that was NOT on my part. I do not have pictures, no time for that. Lastly, we left the room with all trash gathered in their bags, towels in neat pile on bathroom floor, not a piece of trash anywhere and yet they charged me my 50.00 deposit that was suppose to be refunded.
