I stopped by this Puerto Rican food truck that serves "munchies" and offers deals for getting…read moremultiple items. They also sell empanadas by the dozen. One of the workers was really helpful in explaining how the menu worked and what the items were. I went with some of his recommendations like the Malta India beverage and the Veggie empanada. The food is served within 5-10 minutes and is hot. The empanadas are flaky. My pictures don't do all the empanadas justice. There's a little seating near the food truck. I ordered the following: Churro Cheesecake (3/5): it was visually appealing with a nice touch of diced strawberries on top. The bottom and top were a little burnt. It wasn't incredibly sweet. Veggie Empanada (5/5): The empanada was flaky and wonderful. The veggies paired well. I'd get this again. Pizza Empanada (2/5): I felt like the dough was made out of puff pastry. It was different from the other empanadas. It did taste like pizza, but probably won't get again. Chicken Empanada (4/5): There was a good amount of meat. It wasn't dry and had good flavor. Corn Stick with Cheese (4/5): It had like a cornbread consistency, but was a little softer. The cheese inside wasn't that noticeable. Malta India (5/5): The beverage was malty. It has raw cane sugar, and a real treat during the meal. Makes me want to find this at international markets now. I recommend giving this place a try!

We had an excellent experience! It's a food truck with many delicious delicacies. I called in order…read moreand the lady was friendly and patient and polite. We then arrived and everything we ordered was ready as well as scrumptious! We had alcapurrias (my fav). It's a fritter that's stuffed with seasoned meat - best I've had since out here in Alabama. We had potato balls that are stuffed with seasoned meat and deep fried that were delish. We had chicken and beef empanadas that were spot on! The cheese inside was an extra perk. To end perfect meal, we had custard flan, which was so creamy and flavorful. It's a must from now on when we order food. The ambiance was great - since it's a food truck good amount of parking, had utensils as well as a table and chairs (it was clean and area was clean as well). Stop by you won't regret it. It's a drive away from us - but worth the ride.

Still got it with ice! Asked about which is better, the corn muffin or roll, and the response was, "Well corn muffin when it's not burnt. I mean honestly, why would you criticize the food you are serving by saying something to scare the customer away from a selection like that? The ambiance was very simple, not much for decor, it is a small town cafe that used to be called Grumpy's, they have 9 tables, and a wait staff that serves carry out, dine in and drive thru customers, and shared tips. Honestly one of the worst experiences for food taste, and the whole experience. We were told to take a seat, weren't given menus until a few minutes after we sat down and the table was littered with trash and debris, which was cleaned off as we were at the table. They had a big line of cars around the building for the drive thru, and all the other tables inside were full. The food presentation was that of grilling in the back yard. But, you need to work on seasoning the beef, the fries, and the meatloaf. I don't know how this place was so busy! Maybe people don't know how to use spices to flavor foods these days. I mean, a small investment in spices and people that know how to use them would make the world of difference. Reminds me of JJ's. Not good at all! If I could give no stars I would.
