This was a great opportunity to go outside the comfort zone of the familiar and try something new. The fish was super fresh - the flavor and moisture were highlighted by the crunch of the thin outer layer of flour. So, they didn't feel or taste bready the way some batter fried fish can. It's a super casual and friendly place and you can have a beer or soda with your meal. Wonderful tasty fresh dinner with bev for about 65$. Go! They also serve seafood burgers - which look more like what we gringos call croquettes. Don't be scared - go for it. Yum!

The red snapper was plenty for us to share and the meat was perfectly tender with crispy skin and a ton of fried garlic. It was served with coconut rice (slightly sweet) and salad which rounded out the meal. The best part of our experience just definitely how kind Mario was. My boyfriend wanted orange juice but we heard they didn't have it but halfway through the meal, Mario bought orange juice to the store and gave us a complimentary glass.
