It's been so much fun creating new dishes! Prior to this service, I was feeling so stressed out about what to cook and getting ingredients. Now I don't have that stress! Cooking is fun again! I can't wait to get cooking this week! I love that I can customize what meats I want (so no pork for me!) and that I can skip weeks if needed. Also, great customer service! Very professional service!

The flavor alone deserves its own shoutout...seriously, SO good (and yes, I'll say it again... the flavor!!). On top of that, the macros are spot on, which makes staying on track effortless. Delivery has been smooth and reliable, and the variety is a huge win. I was previously using another local meal prep service that just didn't cut it. There were limited options and the taste was only okay. FitEx has been a complete upgrade in every way. I have already recommended it to 3 other people. I'm genuinely excited to keep ordering, and FitEx Meals is definitely becoming a staple in our fridge!

Inside is just a front counter with a microwave on it and the register. To the right of the door are two freezer/coolers that hold all the meals available. On the left they have a bunch of different protein bars. They usually have a wide variety of entrees, a few breakfasts, an overnight oat, and one, maybe two protein desserts. All of their entrees seem to be between 400-500 calories, with anywhere from 30 - 45 grams of protein. I love that every entree is tagged with all that information, plus the expiration date, although I wish that some of the entrees included what exactly was in them. For that, you have to ask the guy working the counter. Four entrees usually cost around $48 with tax. I have tried many different things but so far my favorite has been the tacos and salmon. These are the perfect meal when you don't feel like cooking; each meal heats up in the microwave in about 2 minutes. Make sure you register for their points program - I've already earned $5 off my next visit.

He and his daughter - both lovely people - prepared a large seafood paella and a smaller vegetarian one. They said dinner would be ready by 7:30 and it was exactly that! I called a few caterers for prices and offerings and Star was the only one to include fried plantains that were excellent. Salad too. They set up and packed out efficiently, brought a tent to cover the cooking area during a passing storm, and offered to take photos of our group at the end! Very nice family-owned business.

I don't think they care for certain races to come in there. I watched the front person set my food on the counter behind some plants on the counter and leave it sitting there for a while. Then they motioned for me to come up. I was surprised. I travel all over the country and this is the first time I have ever encountered people not wanting me to be there. I don't care about where places are located, I care about people's reviews. The reviews on this one was a fail. It's sad.

I decided to try out Raw Box Organics when fellow yelper, Kelleigh M., messaged me that Living…read moreSocial was running a deal. Raw Box Organics delivers organic produce directly from the farm to homes and businesses in the Tampa Bay area. You can receive weekly or biweekly shipments and you can customize the shipments to meet your likes and dietary needs. If you open an account on their website you can select produce that you do not want Raw Box to send you. (I hate mushrooms and eggplant so I made sure to select these items on my "do not send list".) Raw Box offers fruit, vegetable, or mixed boxes. They also offer a "juicing box" that contains fruits and vegetables that are good for juicing. All of the boxes come in three sizes: small, medium or large. A small box costs $35 and usually contains 10-13 items for 1-2 people. A medium sized box costs $45 and contains 14-17 items for 3-4 people. A large box is $55 and contains 18-22 items. I purchased the small vegetable box with my living social coupon. I had a bit of trouble using the website so I ended up calling Raw Box and placing my order over the phone. I was really pleased with my shipment. My small box did not seem small at all and contained a variety of tomatoes, sweet potatoes, yellow onion, parsley, carrots with tops, lettuce and kale. I haven't been at home much the past few weeks so I have not had the chance to order again (yet). I have used a similar service in the past and loved it, but I took a break from the service because the weekly shipments can get overwhelming. While it was fun to try new vegetables and recipes my husband and I had to be careful about checking our orders online each week to make sure we weren't receiving the same items each week. (You can only eat so many carrots!!!) Next time I place an order with Raw Box I plan on trying their "juicing box". I love to make freshly squeezed juice with my Vitamix Juicer and would enjoy receiving different varieties of produce to juice.

Abby's is a bit far to go every week, and the grocery stores are often out of things that I want if they even have a decent sized organic section.
