I always come with my friend who speaks spanish (he showed me this place) and I have never had anything I didn't like. Food is excellent. Homemade. Takes a while but it's worth it. Love this place owner is customer service oriented. She thought I asked for two arepas in my order instead of one w other items and I was perplexed at cost of bill. She explained bill to me. We figured the mishap and I insisted on leaving the order as she heard it. She offered me any desert I wanted on the house. I didn't expect that but it made me order another desert on top of the one gifted. Love the freshly squeezed juices as well. read more

This bakery sandwich shop is amazing every thing there is really good. There egg sub with ham, cheese, bacon and eggs are to die for on a fresh bread served nice and hot. The people there are extremely friendly and costumer service is impeccable. Doña olga, y Doña Luz treated us so nicely and the nice young lady at the counter treated us like family, she explained everything they had so we were sure what we wanted, never been to a bakery and sandwich shop amongs other food that treated there clients so well. This is a nice and quick Colombian fix. They sell delicious breakfast options at a really great price. Make sure to grab some cafe con leche and Pan De Bono. It's delicioso!!! The decor isn't anything special, but this a solid Colombian bakery, sandwich, breakfast, fruit juice, shake and street food spot. They have a little parking lot. Ask for hot pan de bono to see when it's coming out of the oven or if there's a fresh batch. SOOOOO good. Blackberry milkshakes are also terrific. La Montana is a another similar bakery and eatery if you want to compare. No complaints. Guava and cheese pastries and other delicious offerings. Friendly service. I'm sorry for the sad review, I can't comment on the sandwiches, empanadas, croquettes or anything, but I get distracted by delicious pastries and bread! They have fresh hot Columbian bread ALL DAY. It is simple and amazing. Soft, center with some sort of cheese I think all wrapped around a crispy delicious crust, pan de Bono, yes order this Is it a hole in the wall? YES (but aren't some of the best places?) Is the staff friendly? YES If you don't know what something is, ask, and they will tell you, with great description Is the coffee good? The Cuban sandwich was good except for the fact that it had some kind of mayonnaise dressing on it which was unusual. The place is a hole in the wall with a very small Crampton difficult parking lot. The pastries I bought were rather dry and not as filled as they should be guava and cheese or cheese bread's. The multiple averages in the refrigerator case or mostly Colombian they had a fair selection of other types of pastries as well. Gentleman behind the counter who helped me was very accommodating and cheerful. The display case was not it very visible and didn't seem quite as clean as it should be for food establishment.I've passed by this place for the past 20 years and have never gone in and now that I have I won't be returning since the food was not worth seeking out. read more

Simple and fabulous! It's a "to go place " for me but you can eat there if you want to, they have a few tables and chairs. The staff is wonderful the ladies that work there are super sweet and helpful. I love their bread and pan de bono because you will always find it warm, they are constantly selling out so they make several batches during the day. Came here for breakfast yesterday! It's definitely a hole in the wall! It was my first time and I had never seen or heard of this place before. The pastries and bread are fresh. The ladies who work there are super sweet. They gave me several items just to try for free. I wanted to wait a while before writing this review so that I could try more menu items. The verdict is......5 stars!!!! Seriously, this place takes you to someone's home in Columbia serving up completely authentic food from day to night. You can order any item at any time of the day. I have tried several of the bakery items such as cookies and their amazing Roscon as well as hot items like sandwiches and huevos with arepas. Don't forget the Pan de Bono!! Its so addicting if you are a carb lover...or a lover of anything awesone and amazing.This is some of the best food I have ever eaten and it's at a great price. Love this place with all of my heart. A hole n the wall kind of place so if you're not careful you can miss it. It's really popular and parking is limited but I always get lucky when I come. My nail tech lady referred them to me when I had their Bono Bread (cheese bread) and fell in love. Almost always find something new to try every time I go. I love their pandebono and my kids love their meringues. Sometimes their bread and pastries are sort of burned. I won't be going there again though; today while I was there I was noticing how dirty some of the walls in the kitchen are and then while my cuban sandwich was being made the man behind the counter dropped a pandebono on the floor. He then picked it up and put it with the rest of the pandebonos. That is pretty freaking disgusting. While I can sort of get past a dirty kitchen I can not get past food being dropped on the floor and still sold. read more

This is one of the smallest bakeries you'll find in Tampa but the quality of the baked goods is amazing. I usually get the loaf of the cheese bread here and it never disappoints. A heavy,lightly sweet dough with a thick layer of cheese in the middle. Just awesome! I also got a guava cheese pastry my last visit and it was excellent as well. Honestly, ALL their food is to die for. Parking is a little tight as it is on the corner of Twinlakes and Waters ave & it doesnt help the the parking is kinda small..still a good place to eat and I'd walk miles for their food..parking wouldnt stop me.
