This is the restaurant for Hotel Maya Tulipanes and is also probably the only place in Palenque where you can get Western/American food. By Western/American I mean hamburgers, sandwiches and pasta.
The service here is not too shabby but that can change depending who's on shift. You might get one guy who's trying to learn English who's quite attentive, or perhaps you'll get the guy staring off into space. The fact of the matter is that Chiapan service is generally the unfriendliest in all of Mexico, so don't take it too personally.
The food is fresh and served in a decent amount of time. My only complaint is that they only blend drinks. So if you want to avoid ice or have a margarita on the rocks, then don't order mixed drinks here. While this may not sound like a rave review, for the area this restaurant is the most consistently delicious and friendly place to eat at in Palenque.
