A must stop if you are in Querétaro. The staff was very friendly and the house beer was delicious. My only criticism about the beer is that they calIed it an IPA, but it was not nearly hoppy enough to taste like one, it was more of a Pale Ale. I have never been satisfied by the pizza in Mexico. This restaurant finally changed that. Our group ordered 3 pizzas and each one was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend the Chamorro as well, the meat was very tender and fell right off the bone. The fries were good too! I love that they make their sodas in house. Great ambiance too with a cool soundtrack and great location a short walk from the heart of downtown. We ended up taking home a souvenir shirt, pint glass and some stickers :) read more

This place is a hidden gem in Queretaro. I had the pleasure of eating here at least once a week for 4 months, and I can confidentially say the erlum burger is one of the best ive had in my life. At first i thought it was because i was fed up with Mexican food, but i had a visitor fresh out of the USA and he confirmed it was also the best burger he has ever had. The meat melts in your mouth. You have the option to opt for a salad instead of fries, and the salads are always made with fresh farm ingredients which perfectly compliment the burger. The owner also has a pig farm and the pork dishes are very fresh. I am not sure if the burgers have pork in them or what but the quality of the meat is impeccable. They also have a wide variety of beers. GO HERE! you will not regret it. read more

The pizza is quite good and the fact that the fries are hand cut had me doing backflips. The beer selection is quite large but most of the menu is bottles. They have about 5 options on tap. The owner is from Chicago and he definitely brought a unique concept to Querétaro. Not unique by American standards, but certainly by Mexican standards. I live in Mexico City, which is much, much larger than Querétaro, and I haven't seen a brewery with such a large beer selection that also sells traditional American pub fare. Bravo. read more

I found my new favorite place in QRO! 50 or more beers available and some tasty burgers for a break from Mexican food. They have lots of food choices in addition to the delicious burgers but you can't beat a good burger and a beer! Some friends recommended Erlum. It is located a few blocks off the main square. The night we stopped in, they were just about to start a special "Oktoberfest" dinner, with house brewed beer, pretzels, mustard, several types of sausage, pork loin, roast chicken, and honey cake. It was all served family style and it was incredible! The food was simple but really high quality and flavorful. I know they make all of their breads in house, and they were great. I admit that we came on a special day so I can't speak to the typical menu of salads, pizzas and sandwiches, but everything I had was so good, I can't imagine anything bad coming out of that kitchen! Very good quality of food. I had a cream soup and a pork leg stew type dish for main with local wines. Both soup and pork was very delicious, these are influenced by French food, completely different from typical Mexican food. I also had local rose wine and red wine.
