I'm in love. Seriously in love with this place. We've driven by this place a hundred times and wondered about it. This morning were looking for a place to eat breakfast and the parking lot was so packed we decided to give it a try. Omelette made with chorizo, cheese and pico, out of this world. Eggs served with fresh side bacon, beans, rice and toasted bread, wonderful. Ido not have the words to tell you how good the rice and bacon were. The homemade tortillas made me so happy! They didn't need ANYTHING on them. Can't wait to go back and try dinner.

The food is exceptional!!! I have had serval dishes here. I had the seafood cocktail, the ceviche, and the Fish soup. All were cooked with great flavor and care. Portions of protein are generous and they have Valentina hot sauce which is a bonus. parking is plentiful and easy to get in and out of. The atmosphere is casual and there are two tvs on, both on the Spanish channel. Not to worry though the waitstaff is bilingual and very friendly. I really enjoyed that there is no music on.. none.. unlike other places in the city where you can't hear yourself think. Now the downside... The bathrooms need a serious remodel. They are clean and well stocked however; I stepped on a mat which was covering up a drainage area surrounded by missing tile. Stepping on a pot hole in the potty??? I'm not lovin that

This place isn't one of my favorite places, but I've never had a bad experience with them and it's close to my job so I come pretty often. They have switched owners a few times over the years, so if you've had a bad experience in the past, chances are it was under a different management. I'm pretty content with the current management. The servers are nice and the decor is pretty authentic. The food is good. I like that the salsa they serve with chips as an appetizer is actually authentic salsa, not just tomato salsa. I've had the fajitas before and they're okay. My favorite is their Caldo de Siete Mares (Seven Sea Soup). It's huge -- I always take the left overs for dinner.

I love this place. The food is outstanding. If you want some authentic Mexican food this place is all about authentic. Some dishes are spicy in ways I relish and others not so much but just asflavorful. 5 stars for me.

Chicken and steak fajitas. Asked for no shrimp. They clearly hooked me up

Sauce bottles left to right... Mayo. Yes. Mayo. Don't knock it until you try it. Creamy Green sauce. Spicy af but amazing. Red salsa. Spicy too with an addictive kick. Original salsa in the cup that came with my chips and salsa. Hot too but not crazy. BUTTER. Yes. Mix butter with any salsa and a chip and you're in heaven. You're welcome. Customer service, food and vibes are on point. Will be back a lot. 10/10.

It arrived as this dramatic, beautifully constructed tower of mixed seafood topped with avocado and a whole shrimp--definitely a dish that makes an entrance. The seafood seemed fresh, but I discovered that this particular style of mixed mariscos just isn't for me. Some of the seafood had a gray, translucent appearance and texture that I personally didn't enjoy. That may simply be characteristic of the preparation rather than any problem with the dish. I only tried this one item, so I don't think it would be fair to judge the kitchen more broadly based on my personal preference. What I can comment on much more definitively is the noise. It was extraordinarily loud. I eventually pulled out my phone and measured the sound level because I genuinely wanted to know whether it was as loud as it felt. I recorded levels exceeding 100 dB, with peaks around 103 dB. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. Unfortunately, I could barely hear them. I enjoy energetic restaurants and certainly don't expect dinner to take place in a library. But there's a point where "lively atmosphere" becomes something prospective customers deserve to know about before deciding where to spend an evening. This crossed that line for me. If a very high-energy, extremely loud environment is your thing, you may have a completely different experience. If you're hoping to have a conversation over dinner without shouting across the table, I'd choose accordingly. Friendly staff, impressively presented food, and a seafood dish that simply wasn't my jam. But the volume overwhelmed everything else about the experience--and at 103 dB, that's not background music. That's the main course.

I was super lucky that it was happy hour and basically half of their menu is on happy hour special, so if you can swing it I would take advantage. I started with the nachos and I have to say they are among the best I have had at a restaurant! Usually when you get loaded nachos the chips get soggy and makes the nachos hard to eat but the tortilla chips are hearty and can hold some serious mass. Tons of flavor are packed here too! Every quarter unlocks a new taste sensation, from the queso to the guacamole to the protein and the jalapeños! I would highly recommend these. They are a great portion to share, or if you are like me, incredibly hungry single person. I had a bit more room in me after walking around the city all day and decided on the Barbacoa Lamb Tacos. And they also had some great flavor to them. Simple nothing ostentatious about them but I mean that as a compliment, they let the lamb do the talking! The restaurant itself is open and if fully packed I can see it getting loud. There is also an outside patio and bar option available. Staff was good very nice and attentive.

It was very busy when we walked in but there was no wait. We were thankfully seated immediately and started off with chips and salsa. The chips were nice and crispy, but the salsa was mediocre. The tomatoes tasted canned. While I can totally get the efficiency behind using canned tomatoes for a busy restaurant, the taste is not preferred. The kids chicken quesadilla plate was a good amount of food! I just wish the quesadilla was already sliced as it was for our 3 year old. The chicken was also bland. Again, the portions were great. My son ordered the Burrito La Herencia with ground beef and this was seasoned well. Again, great portions of beans, rice & main dish. No complaints with this one! My spouse ordered the La Herencia fajita special and felt as if it was lacking. The steak pieces were minuscule and the shrimp was bland and undercooked. The pork chop was thinly sliced which was nice but VERY salty. We were wishing for more peppers and onions as well. Overall this dish was salty, but tolerable! It came with a side plate of rice, beans, pico de gallo, guac, sour cream & lettuce. Served with flour tortillas. We ordered the queso & guac while we were looking at the menu and waiting. I personally did not enjoy the queso. It was thick and had an artificial mouth feel. The guac was decent! Bland overall but I love the taste of avocado. I wish it had more lime and seasoning though since it was supposed to be Guacamole and not avocado dip. I ordered the Steak Mexicano with extra jalapeños and this was very good. Still on the salty side but I enjoy things on a SLIGHTLY saltier range. My spouse thought the steak was TOO salty. The peppers, onions, and tomatoes were nicely sautéed and seasoned. The rice here is also DELICIOUS. I hate a bland Mexican rice. The beans were good too but nothing to write home about. I do wish I was offered a side of corn tortillas. Overall this experience was okay! Not the worst but definitely not the best. The restaurant was beautifully decorated but there was a noticeable lack of music. We were sat listening to the chatter of all the different customers and kitchen noises. We did have the option of booth or table AND they have boosters seats/ high chairs upon request.
