The inside is lovely and clean. One end has merchandise for sale. And the long bar is where you decide which ones you want to try. Once you've marked them on the menu, they will bring them out to you in a carrier. You can do flights of three, six, or just buy a bottle. Or a taste. The outside is just beautiful. The seating areas, the umbrellas, the view, and the vineyards themselves. I recommend highly you come in summer, spring or fall and sit outside and enjoy your wine like we always do. I know the categories of their wines as dry, but, I found that they were more in the semi sweet side. They're sparkling wine, and the rosé were amazing. The reds were great as well. We ended up tasting six red wine and bought one bottle. They also have charcuterie, boards, and pizza. Go to this winery. You won't be disappointed.

You walk in and go upstairs to the tasting room. There are options for a 3-wine tasting and a 6-wine tasting. We obviously went with the 6...but also because the offering options were numerous and so many in each of our preferred wheelhouses. They pour the wine and give you a glass holder with all of them at once, so you can take it where you want to enjoy your wine, which I really like. The patio was welcoming and the view was wonderful and we enjoyed our initial tasting so much, we opted for ordering food and getting a bit more wine to drink to extend our visit! I got a large pretzel which was...fine. I expected and hoped for something more/better, but it was fine. My friend got a pizza and it was pretty alright as well. I am mostly just pleased and grateful that they have fairly substantial food options to enjoy with your wine. The tasting notes on the wine list are spot on, so pay attention to those! But also, try something new and different! The Almond bubbly was a delightful surprise! And the coffee infused wine was a bold offering. The staff were lovely and friendly, but also weren't too pushy or up in our business. It struck the perfect chord. Highly recommend a visit here if you like trying wines in Wisconsin!

My husband and I spent hours going through their repertoire, listening to quartet versions of the songs on YouTube and carefully selecting what we wanted to hear. We provided the list to the contact person, but our selections were completely ignored. In fact, they didn't even play the song (Air on the G String, pretty standard fare) I had chosen for my bridal party to walk down the aisle to. I don't even know the song they actually played. Every time I hear A on the G String, I'm brought back to that moment and I am annoyed. They played the theme to Super Mario Brothers during my cocktail hour. Cute? Kind of. Not on my list though, and not what I wanted to hear. The played a lot of classical musical. (Also not on my list.) I wanted to hear Stairway to Heaven and Dave Matthews Band, which is why I spent so much money on a string quartet instead of hiring a group of college students. Additionally, after the ceremony they were to go to the reception location and being playing there. When I walked into my cocktail hour, their instruments were sitting by their chairs, but they were not to be seen. I said something to my dad and he mentioned he saw one down at the hotel internet cafe on the computer. What?! Seriously?! My father went down and got him. His response? "Oh, we didn't know we were supposed to play as people were entering." Like I said, my guests loved the quartet, but they didn't pay for something they didn't get. If I could go back, I would save $900 and hire the college students.

We were able to create a playlist and provide links to song we wanted about a week before the wedding so all in all it worked out and we got the music we wanted played. I do wish they had a more comprehensive list for you to choose from but do understand how they come about offering the songs they do. Our DJ was awesome! He covered all the details with us a few days before and took requests the night off. I was very happy with how the reception turned out.

While the fitness center at the Waunakee Village Center is quite a bit smaller than than any of the health clubs in the area, it is close to where I live. That convenience meant actually getting to the gym, working out and getting value for my membership. What I like: * The fitness center is immaculate and the equipment is well maintained. There always is a staff member walking around with a spray bottle keeping things clean. * There's lots of natural light. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but after working out in places with with artificial lighting, it's like night and day (pardon the obvious pun). * The fees are reasonable. A single membership is $300 annually and my health insurance picks up half the tab. * It's not over crowded. Even during the busy periods in January and February, I could always get on a treadmill or elliptical machine. * The staff are cheerful and always helpful. What I don't: * Weekend hours are not great. 7 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays and 9 AM to 5 PM on Sundays. The late opening time on Sunday is especially frustrating. * Classes cost extra and the good ones fill up very quickly. So if you're living in the only Waunakee in the World and are looking for a great place to workout, definitely consider a membership at the Village Center.

Being a work-from-home mom the Village Center was a convenient place to start. My hours are pretty flexible and I can drop by on my lunch break or late afternoon. I've been here at various times and it's never been super packed. I have always found a treadmill or elliptical to work on. I usually just stick to cardio at the gym and the equipment here is great! All the machines have TVs, although I usually just binge watch something on Netflix while working out. Membership is very reasonable for residents. You get $5 off per group fitness class if you are a gym member. Since my workout times are all over the board I haven't done any of the classes. The staff is very friendly. The place is very clean and doesn't smell of sweat when you enter - a big deal for me.
