From the street, this appears to be a small hole in the wall place that I probably wouldn't have chosen if I were just walking by. Was looking for a place to have lunch near my rental apartment and chose this one based on a solid 5-star rating on Yelp.
We sat on the main floor - the room is quite plain. Service was nice even though our Spanish is not great. I ordered tacos de pollo - it was my first day in Mexico and I was excited for tacos. What I got was more like taquitos - chicken rolled up in a fried outside. Covered in a mound of cheese, lettuce and sour cream with guac and refried beans. The sides were what stood out on the plate. The tacos were sort of bland and just not what I was wanting to eat at that time. Two meals and two beers came out to about 200 pesos. read more
