We came in for dinner and our hosts arranged for us to be served the set menu. The setting of this restaurant is very historic and the staff is ready to give you the history of the room and the hotel. They let us walk around and look at the old bank vault that now stores the wine. I took a selfie.
The three course menu was very delicious. The main course was veal, which I normally don't order but it was good.
I loved trying the different cocktails. The wine was also good.
Going to the bathroom is an event. You go through the regular doors which are separated by gender. But everyone washes their hands in the same sink area. It's surprising but it was funny when I noticed it because I was washing my hands next to a guy I knew.
Dinner at this restaurant inspired me to check out staying at this hotel on a future visit to Oslo. read more
