They absolutely delivered. They installed three ceiling fans, added proper ground boxes, and completely redid sections of unsafe wiring that was old, brittle, and poorly handled before. What really stood out was their professionalism, they documented the entire process with photos, which gave me total peace of mind. Most importantly, my mom is extremely happy, and I feel so much better knowing her home is now significantly safer. Reliable, transparent, and clearly takes pride in their work. Highly recommend. It included a full service upgrade from 100A to 200A, a new panel, grounding and bonding throughout the house, correction of multiple inspection issues, new lighting, bathroom exhaust fan installation, staircase lighting, GFCIs, and additional interior work once the project was underway. Yonatan and his team handled all of it professionally, safely, and by the book. What stood out most was the level of care and transparency. Yonatan took the time to walk the house in detail, explain what was required by NYC code versus what was optional, and clearly outline the scope before any work began. When additional work made sense after opening things up, it was discussed first, priced clearly, and documented properly. No surprises. The crew was punctual, respectful of the home, and clearly knew what they were doing. The work is impeccable. The panel is clean and well-labeled, and everything functions exactly as promised. This is the kind of electrical work you want done once and done right, especially in an older NYC home. I would absolutely use GroundElectric again and recommend them without hesitation.

Long story short, Sherlon is the man, and these guys are the real deal. I've worked with them twice (and know others who have had similar great experiences) and both times I felt confident in the quality of their work, and you could honestly tell they appreciated the business.

After a year and a few more dollars spent on electrical work, I have to update my review for Triple…read moreT Electric. I hired them to replace two breaker panels and run new dedicated lines for air conditioners in a two family house. The house is over 100 years old, with very old wiring. They gave us the wrong size breakers for the wiring in most of the house - this is a huge fire hazard, as breakers will not trip if overloaded. When the electrician finished the work, he let me know that he gave us larger breakers, and presented this as if it was an upgrade. We had never discussed this, but he explained that we would be getting "more power" to our devices and that everything would be fine. We only found out about the danger of bigger breakers with smaller wiring months later when we had some other, unrelated minor electrical work done. I called Triple T to let them know about my concerns, and they sent someone else out to take a look. The electrician that they sent let me know that the wiring going into the panels "looked fine", but that they would switch out the breakers "if I wanted" for $600. Additionally, the new lines on the first floor were wired to the breaker panel on the second floor - we didn't realize this until later when we went to relabel the panels. I knew that I did not trust Triple T to fix their own work at this point, so I never brought this specific issue up with them. I received quotes from three other electricians, all of whom agreed that some of the wiring going into the panels was indeed the wrong size wire. Additionally, several breakers had two wires going into them, when it should only be one, which can overload the breaker. All three electricians agreed that the work had created a safety risk. Two of the three other electricians also found that the grounding system was installed incorrectly, as well as the bushing and lock nut on the second floor panel. I don't like leaving negative reviews, especially for local businesses. However, people deserve to know when they are dealing with contractors who take advantage of their clients not knowing everything about electrical. I feel scammed by Triple T, and I am unsettled that the wiring in my house was unsafe for months because of their work.
