I stopped here for the first time it was just before lunch time it was pretty quiet most of the people were either on a laptop or using there phones so it was pretty quiet for the most part the menu was pretty self explanatory pretty easy to explore and see what you want to try I got the brisket with the cheese and jalapeno bagel it was pretty good actually the jalapeno was a good choice to go with the brisket and the person who took my order was very polite and it was made pretty quick so there was not much waiting for it to be ready. read more

This Einstein's location is my go-to for a quick breakfast. They always have seasonal items and a great menu selection. I've been going here forever and the same manager has worked there for as long as I can remember. The staff always have good suggestions and are very friendly. Every single time I go into this store they always manage to do something wrong. Forget an egg on my sandwich, switch out the bagels on my pickup orders without telling me. Plus, they never offer any help, it's always a mistake on their part or their policy and they just forgot to mention it. And i've never gotten anything free for their mistakes or extremely long waits. I've been a consistent customer here, awards member, and lived in different city's going to the same establishment. The workers at this location never say have a good day, maybe they have once, and are always in a bad mood; seemingly because they are busy sometimes but I guess the customers get the short stick here because the works are tired of holding the company's standards. Tasteless!!! Went in on Sat. July 8th as we were running errands and wanted a breakfast sandwich to begin the day. Bad, bad decision. I agree with the other posters below - this was completely bland. My wife chose an egg and cheese on the hash brown bagel. It came out with bacon on it, which she did not order. Good for me, because I snagged it up and added it to my bacon, egg and cheese on a jalapeno cheese bagel. I made mine a meal by getting the 2 in. hashbrown disk. I agree with the other poster who said the hashbrowns taste weird. I totally agree. There is nothing wrong with them. In fact there is nothing wrong with any of the cooking. But, it's just tasteless. I did not say a single thing (but was thinking it), when my wife burst out - this didn't do a thing for me - it's tasteless. I totally agree. Every aspect was tasteless - the bagel, the cheese/jalapeno topping, the bacon, egg, cheese and hashbrowns. I laughed out loud when I read the wrapper the hash brown was in. "We use the highest quality ingredients - we use thick cut bacon." There was no way in hell this was thick cut bacon. It was the thinnest pieces of bacon you could find. If you claim the eggs and bagels were of quality - I would love to sit you down and eat them. There is no way you can claim they have taste. Finally, it is July 2023 and when we walked in (we have not been there in quite some time), we were shocked to see no seating in the dining area. What are you kidding me? There has to be alternative reasons as to why they are not putting seating in the dining room - either they don't have the staffing to clean up the tables or else they don't want people lingering on their phones and laptops from the dining area and not buying product. There has to be some reason. Anyway, they still have a very good crowd coming in, so I am guessing folks still like this place. Good for Einstein. I think it is good the community of Rocky River has this offering. For us however, it is a big pass! read more

The staff is friendly and remember your face order...not sure if that means we come here a little too often, but I guess that is we have it part of Sunday morning routine. Been going to Einstein's since 1998 and consider myself the ultimate Einstein Bros. customer. The bagels and shmear are delicious but the vanilla hazelnut coffee is what sets this bagel shop apart from all others. Simply the best morning coffee you can get. I went from going once a week in 1998 to brewing their beans at home in 2006 to buying my own Curtis D60gt commercial brewer in 2011 . I regularly spent around 80 dollars a month on vanilla hazelnut coffee bags and bagels. But lets not forget the workers who make this franchise what it is. I've known a few of the workers for years , very dedicated and I look forward to saying hi to them when I arrive. All the credit goes to my wife for finding this bagel shop in 1998 , we were driving by in Willoughby and she said lets stop here. read more

While the food was fine, up to par with any other Einstein's across the country, the service was subpar. I have ordered ahead from here twice and both times I watched people walk into the restaurant and leave with their food before mine was walked out to the outside order pickup. I've gone up to the counter and given them my name for the order but was told it wasn't ready if it wasn't out. Meanwhile I watched the bad sit on the back counter for 10 minutes allowing my food to go cold before they brought it lit. Why could they not have grabbed it for me 10 minutes earlier when I walked in? Don't know because they had plenty of staff just walking around not making food. read more

The staff has a good attitude and the store is well-kept and typically stocked with my favorite items, however the point-of-sale / cash registers are painfully slow and unreliable. Despite everywhere else being open around, their dining room was still closed -- but I was told I could sit outside in the windy 50 degree weather, and ended up having to eat and work out of my car in the parking lot. I just moved to the area a few months ago and decided to try this bagel shop. While the bagels are far less chewy than Panera they are much smaller, and less flavorful. I ordered an egg and cheese bagel and there was absolutely no flavor to it. The hashbrowns were just weird. How something with cheese in it can be that bland, I have no idea. The iced coffee was supposed to be dark roast but it really wasn't that strong at all. I probably won't go back because the food was just not that great. read more

I understand that the COVID pandemic is making a lot of things difficult, but it does not make being nice hard. I walked up to order and the cashier kept pointing to something near me but would not speak. After a couple arm gestures I realized they wanted me to take 1 step to the right to stand on a floor sign. Okay then. I order my food and try to order a drink and am told "order drinks there" with another arm gesture to a different counter. I walk down and order my drink. Here is where I pay for my entire order. I try to hand over my card and the cashier picks up a basket and starts shaking it at me. So I toss it in. She picks it up wearing a glove (the same glove she's been wearing since I walked up), swipes it, and then puts it back in the basket. She then proceeds to go make my drink and get my food; still wearing the same glove.... I get it, a lot of people are unsure what to do, but I assure you that grunting at customers and communicating with arm gestures is not helping. The glove thing, that's a food handling violation in itself. Whoever owns this store should spend some time training these employees. The only reason it got two stars was because the food was great, however, I will not be back to this location. I visited the Middleburg Heights location the following day and was happy. No weird requirements or rude employees there. read more

I've been coming here since The Parthenon was built, BUT it is utterly ridiculous that the dining room is STILL closed! Every other eatery's dining room opened up 2 years ago or so! Vaccines have been out, and the pandemic is essentially under control for a long time now. Customers NEED a place they can sit down and sip their morning coffee! How ridiculous it is to still be sitting in my car to sip and eat, using my dashboard as a mini-table! Then even after showing DoorDash this photo of the burnt black bagel, DoorDash refused to do anything about it! No refund for this item or anything! So I was forced to pay for a burnt black inedible bagel! Not cool! Upon calling the store to tell them about it, they said they would put my name on a list and if I came into the store and give me a free replacement... nice gesture if it actually works... but honestly this was my first experience ordering from Einstein Bros Bagels and i really don't care to order from them again. Every time i've come into this place I've NEVER had a single bad experience. My typical time coming in is 11am - noon and I'll get a lunch bagel. From previous reviews being so low i've been waiting for a bad experience but NOPE! Service is incredibly friendly and fast! My food has always been amazing and tasty. The typical demographic of this area has been middle aged people sitting on old money. So I'll assume they haven't worked a single day in the food industry and that's why this place doesn't get the good reviews it deserves. I recommended this place to all my coworkers and they also had a great experience as well as amazing food. I'll keep recommending this place :) read more

I love coming here simply because it's the closest to New York bagels I can find. Their sandwiches are great the staff is freaking great the place is clean. You have to get there early only so that you can have your pick by noon they are almost out of a lot of their bagels that alone should tell you how good their bagels are . I ordered this new avocado, bacon and egg white sandwich that was a very unfortunate $5.50 that I wish I had never spent. Tiny sandwich with the smallest little morsel of bacon and barely any of the so called avocado. As you can see from my photo there were plenty of tomato but not much else. Even the egg was very sad. That was supposedly two eggs that they charged extra for also!
