    Breakfast Burrito

First time giving this place a try. I was not disappointed. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito. The portions are generous. The ingredients tasted fresh. My order was correct, so I'm gonna say the service was great.

Really love the feeling in this place. Everyone was very friendly, and the overall atmosphere felt very warm and welcoming! There's a grocery section, cafe, and seating area. I was in town just for the day so I didn't do too much grocery shopping, but instead got a really delicious turmeric/ginger coffee drink. My sister in law got the most DELICIOUS oolong tea! She also got a breakfast sandwich that looked amazing! I had to grab miyokos liquid mozzarella because I've had a very hard time finding it. Can't wait to try this on pizza! I really wanted to grab the locally made tofu but didn't have space in my cooler. :( There's great gifts as well: I spotted cards, stickers, gourmet chocolates (if you haven't tried mast please treat yourself), candles, perfumes, keychains, wine. Etc Some of the products are higher priced than other places, but most of the products that were pricy weren't the staples but rather the treats I.e. lily's sugar free chocolates and the stickers. I'll definitely be back!

Along Detroit Avenue in Lakewood is this cool store and cafe. It has organic groceries as well as a counter to order from. Nature's Oasis is my favorite place in this market. Grab a quick coffee and meal and look around. There's also many natural produce, supplements, and vitamins. Eating here is good at breakfast. It has some of the healthiest breakfast items you can get. They have a vegan BLT sandwich. It's about $8 for a pretty big one. This comes with vegan bacon, cheese and mayonnaise, with lettuce and tomatoes. It comes on a choice of bread. They have bagels or you can get it on toast. Along with the made to order stuff is a large amount of groceries. Produce is the best section. Everything looks fresh. The prices are very reasonable, especially for a hip market like this. A lot of local products are here. There's also a section of local beer and wine. In the back is a large section of supplements and other health items. These have pretty good prices. I like coming here for the hot food. It's also nice looking around and finding some healthy groceries. The price for most things is good, and they have the best selection of any of the natural and organic stores.

Fantastic selection of eccentric foods, organic items, and baked goods. Many vegan and gluten-free options. Cafe made to order items and coffee drinks plus smoothies as well. Refrigerated items and frozen foods as well as kombuchas and local craft beers can be bought here too. Gem of a place! The seasonal breakfast sandwich w egg white and pumpkin butter is delicious. It also has bacon and cream cheese but can be made vegan with substitutes.

I went here for breakfast on my day off to treat my self. To be fair I only ordered an oat meal and matcha latte. The oatmeal was good! Good flavor and ingredients. The matcha latte was ok, not my thing, but I wanted to try something different. The store inside was super cute. A lot of different items, a good selection. The other good they had on the menu all sounded amazing. They have a lot of fall special right now that had my mouth watering. When I'm not on a diet I'm going back for a more indulgent meal!!

I finally visited Nature's Oasis and this will not be my last time. This is a grocery store as well as a cafe that sells organic products. I stopped in to get a bite to eat for dinner. I bought a bowl of small lentils (cooked vegan) and OH MY WORD. The lentils were so delicious that I wish I had rice to go along with it. If you love beans and if you are trying to have a more plant based diet then I would recommend the lentils. There was such a good blend of flavours in the lentils. I'm curious as to what spices, if any, were used in preparing the lentils. The cafe also has breakfast and lunch options. I got a green goodness smoothie which has banana, spinach, yogurt (it is a coconut yogurt), peanut butter, and skim milk (I choose Almond milk instead). For the smoothies, you can actually also make your own smoothie with whatever ingredients you want. Also, for the smoothies on their menu, you can always modify it if you want to remove or add something. There are some tables and chairs inside so you can eat your food there and also stay a while to read, study, etc. I highly recommend Nature Oasis and I can't wait to come back soon. *** This is my 101 Yelp review overall. 55 reviews for 2018. I am aiming for 60 reviews in 2018 but I think I can get 100 reviews.

Staff was super friendly, we had to wait a bit for our food but it was all really fresh and good. The banana waffles and the green juice were super tasty! Cool spot for gifts, picking up a few pantry items, or a cozy place to study. Highly recommend

Very berry salad. And i believe grilled chicken sand which.

Either that or he is completely unaware of how to appropriately treat potential customers. I have two close friends who have been treated with total disrespect here, to the point where I tell people to avoid it at all costs! My friend Jill and I went into this GNC the other weekend to see if they had the vegan preworkout we use in stock. We couldn't find it on the shelves, but they carry other products from the same brand so we figured we would ask to see if they would be getting any of the preworkout in any time soon. After we asked the man at the counter our question, he rudely told us to hold on because he was currently busy. After he finished what he was doing he gestured to one of the walls and muttered "preworkout is over there." I couldn't believe he wasn't even willing to walk us over to the wall, he just pointed. Next, we asked about particular brand we were looking for, to which he responded "We don't have it, but there are plenty of others over there." We let him know that we were vegan so we needed the particular brand. He then went on the tell us that we were too "picky" and if we weren't so particular we wouldn't have an issue. Naturally, we left immediately. A few days later I was talking to another friend of mine about what happened, and to my disbelief he also had been treated rudely at this GNC. He was looking for a particular supplement that he has purchased at other GNC locations. When he saw it wasn't on the shelves he asked the man behind the counter if they carried it. The man rudely responded "Did you see it?" "No." " Well then obviously we don't have it." My friend asked if he could call the surrounding GNCs so see if they had it in stock. The worker responded very coldly "I know they don't carry it. GNC doesn't carry that. If you want to call you can, but I'm not going to." Well, my friend left and drove to the next GNC. Naturally, they had it in stock. This man is awful and totally ruins the entire experience for anyone who goes in there.

I've visited this location many times and especially find it festive during the holiday season. AMBIANCE: This location is a standard WF store - spacious and clean. The store is also organized like other WF for convenience. I prefer it to the University Heights location. FOOD: Food selection is excellent and everything looks fresh! I found some items here that aren't available at my frequented University Heights destination. For instance, fresh breads you can pack yourself, plenty more smoked salmon options, liverwurst, chestnuts, and plenty of hot foods. During my last visit I picked up just a few favorites - smoked salmon, rotisserie chicken, baked bread, liverwurst, and some hot foods. I was very pleased with how easy it is to find everything especially later in the day. Typically, hot foods, bread, and rotisserie chicken are hard to find later in the day. The prices at Whole Foods are on the higher end. The ambiance and quality make it well worth it. SERVICE: The service is okay. The employees are selectively nice. Lines are usually long during busy shopping days like weekends. COFFEE SHOP: I've never had coffee inside the Whole Foods until today. I was very sleepy and needed a pick me up, wasn't in the mood to seek out a coffee shop. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of coffee drinks like lattes and seasonal offerings. I selected drip coffee, which was $2.75 for a large. I was very happy with this cup of coffee - not too acidic, flavorful, and awakening. CHRISTMAS TREES: There are plenty of Christmas trees - $29.99 for table trees, and $69.99 for regular trees. Table trees were not very lush, but many people were purchasing them. There are plenty of choices here so that you don't have to make a journey to a farm or other market. I enjoy my visits to this store. I look forward to stopping in again soon. Next time I'll try seasonal caffeine drinks!

A TON OF PHOTOS ARE ATTACHED BELOW TO THIS REVIEW!!…read more After having brunch at the Root Cafe with 2 friends last weekend (on 9 April 2022), we decided to walk around some stores in the area. This CBD store was right across the street (diagonal) so we decided to stop by. All I knew about CBD prior to visiting this store is that it is very safe and may be beneficial in pain management. I am not a smoker or alcohol drinker and I don't plan to be but I've always been curious about what CBD is so it was interesting stopping in to learn more information. It's no secret that medical marijuana is now being used across the Nation to help patients suffering from different ailments and small dosages of marijuana is now legal in some states for recreational use. WHAT IS CBD? -- Per an information sheet, "Cannabidol or CBD is a compound in Cannabis that has medical effects but does not make people feel "stoned" and actually counters some of the effects of THC. The reduced psychoactivity of CBD-rich Cannabis may make it an appealing treatment option for patients seeking anti-inflammatory, anti-pain, anti-anxiety, and/or anti-spasm effects without disconcerting euphoria or lethargy." INSIDE THE STORE -- Very neat and clean. This is a small store in Lakewood but it does the job of presenting all the products in a proficient manner. PRODUCTS -- They sell plenty of products from topical creams to help reduce body pains, pet products, CBD tinctures (oil-based), Bath-Bombs with hemp extract, THC products, etc. My friend got some samples of chewable gummies. It has THC and CBG in it with no CBD. Of course, THC is what marijuana has in it so I didn't get it. My friend said after taking one sample, she felt "high" (drowsy, laughable, etc). I got 2 topical cream samples (FREE) which you are supposed to apply on your body anywhere you feel pain. It has THC in it. I applied it on my lower back area and it applied smoothly. I didn't feel much of a difference it it reducing my pain though. I then bought 2 small CBD powder mixes ($2 each) called hemp supplement. The point is to mix it with a glass of water. I got the orange mango and cucumber yuzo flavours. So far, I've tried the Orange Mango and diluted it with a glass of water. It tasted alright. I was hoping to taste more of an orango/mango flavour but that was not the case (haha). CBD vs. MARIJUANA -- "Although both are from the same plant species called Cannabis, they are 2 very distinct plants that differ in genetics, cultivation, and chemical process. Hemp is cultivated for many things including: rope, fabric, food, CBD extracts, etc. Marijuana is cultivated to yield high levels of THC. Hemp has very low levels of THC (defined as 0.3% and under) and has no intoxicating properties, where marijuana can contain levels that exceed 20%." So, if you want to stay "HEALTHY NOT HIGH" then stop by this store today. They have organic products as well. **** - 44/150 total reviews in 2022 - 522 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 16 April 2022
