Nature's Oasis is a cute little counter service cafe along with a grocery. The grocery highlights local items. I enjoy browsing in the grocery while they prepare my order. They have a large menu for breakfast and lunch. The menu includes many vegan items. The vegan item up charge is very minimal compared to other places I have been. I would recommend the breakfast Sammy. We had both the vegan option and non vegan option at our table and they were very good. The sandwich is totally customizable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. As with many Lakewood establishments you do have to park on the street. read more

First off, at no fault of Nature's Oasis I was disappointed in the coffee, but only because they serve a roaster that disagrees with my stomach for whatever reason, so I was unable to get the fresh brewed coffee that I had intended to get. I bought some Guardians Cold Brew, which was good, but not necessarily what I wanted... But here is my review on the items that they could actually control. My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite for lunch, we were pleasantly surprised to be able to walk right up to the counter to order our lunch as no one else was at the counter at lunch time on a Tuesday! I order some kind of egg white sandwich on an everything bagel, and he ordered a Pesto Chicken Sandwich on a GF Tortilla wrap. 20 minutes later.....we received out order: My egg sandwich was ok - but because it was only egg whites, I discovered that I really like the yolks! The bagel itself was ok, but tasted like a plain bagel. I had never heard of the place they get their bagels from (Bialy's bagels) so I looked it up and discovered that they are closed Monday-Tuesday, so wondering if my lack of flavor was because these were older bagels from a Sunday delivery?? My husband's Pesto Chicken Sandwich did not have any Pesto - so he inquired and was told that they "ran out" of Pesto, but they offered him some kind of chipotle sauce, which he enjoyed. Really love the feeling in this place. Everyone was very friendly, and the overall atmosphere felt very warm and welcoming! There's a grocery section, cafe, and seating area. I was in town just for the day so I didn't do too much grocery shopping, but instead got a really delicious turmeric/ginger coffee drink. My sister in law got the most DELICIOUS oolong tea! She also got a breakfast sandwich that looked amazing! I had to grab miyokos liquid mozzarella because I've had a very hard time finding it. Can't wait to try this on pizza! I really wanted to grab the locally made tofu but didn't have space in my cooler. :( There's great gifts as well: I spotted cards, stickers, gourmet chocolates (if you haven't tried mast please treat yourself), candles, perfumes, keychains, wine. Etc Some of the products are higher priced than other places, but most of the products that were pricy weren't the staples but rather the treats I.e. lily's sugar free chocolates and the stickers. First time coming here. My wife referred me to this place after her and a few of her girlfriends checked it out. I absolutely love this place! It's unique, one of a kind and it's got something for everyone.... Tons of vegan food on their menu! I tried their hummus toast and vegan Sammie on a bagel. Oh! I a a I also had their breakfast smoothie. While I was waiting I checked out the rest of the store which had an extensive amount of groceries, snacks, booze and gifts! Plenty of seating. Along Detroit Avenue in Lakewood is this cool store and cafe. It has organic groceries as well as a counter to order from. Nature's Oasis is my favorite place in this market. Grab a quick coffee and meal and look around. There's also many natural produce, supplements, and vitamins. Eating here is good at breakfast. It has some of the healthiest breakfast items you can get. They have a vegan BLT sandwich. It's about $8 for a pretty big one. This comes with vegan bacon, cheese and mayonnaise, with lettuce and tomatoes. It comes on a choice of bread. They have bagels or you can get it on toast. Along with the made to order stuff is a large amount of groceries. Produce is the best section. Everything looks fresh. The prices are very reasonable, especially for a hip market like this. A lot of local products are here. There's also a section of local beer and wine. In the back is a large section of supplements and other health items. These have pretty good prices. I like coming here for the hot food. It's also nice looking around and finding some healthy groceries. I love baking with Red Mill Flour, so nice to find that here. Great if you want to bake some gluten free goodies. I was dressed business casual, lol, which seemed to get a different vibe in service. But the staff seemed to be excellent with the other customers and very friendly with the different ladies that came in. I wanted to try a new product for gut health that they had, which made me happy. I am not so concerned how I am treated but how they treat customers overall. As far as I can tell while I sat there, they were very nice with most customers that came in. Good with quick service and excellent selection. Worth a look when you are in Lakewood. read more

All people should have access to such high-quality food, even those on very low incomes. Hey, I really like this place! Located in Lakewood, this is a great place to grab some healthy food, or to buy gifts or local goodies! I've been in here for smoothies (delicious and the right price) and other times for local beer and wine, and for gifts. My family is trying to do mostly consumables for Christmas this year so I decided to stop here to grab some local goods. I ended up leaving with Nosh nut butters (I got the almond pistachio), some fresh pasta from Lakewood Pasta co, and some local wine. They also carry a bunch of local arts and crafts too, which also make great presents. I will continue to shop here and get yummy smoothies. Great spot, friendly staff, welcoming business. read more

I went here for breakfast on my day off to treat my self. To be fair I only ordered an oat meal and matcha latte. The oatmeal was good! Good flavor and ingredients. The matcha latte was ok, not my thing, but I wanted to try something different. The store inside was super cute. A lot of different items, a good selection. The other good they had on the menu all sounded amazing. They have a lot of fall special right now that had my mouth watering. I finally visited Nature's Oasis and this will not be my last time. This is a grocery store as well as a cafe that sells organic products. I stopped in to get a bite to eat for dinner. I bought a bowl of small lentils (cooked vegan) and OH MY WORD. The lentils were so delicious that I wish I had rice to go along with it. If you love beans and if you are trying to have a more plant based diet then I would recommend the lentils. There was such a good blend of flavours in the lentils. I'm curious as to what spices, if any, were used in preparing the lentils. The cafe also has breakfast and lunch options. I got a green goodness smoothie which has banana, spinach, yogurt (it is a coconut yogurt), peanut butter, and skim milk (I choose Almond milk instead). For the smoothies, you can actually also make your own smoothie with whatever ingredients you want. Also, for the smoothies on their menu, you can always modify it if you want to remove or add something. There are some tables and chairs inside so you can eat your food there and also stay a while to read, study, etc. I highly recommend Nature Oasis and I can't wait to come back soon. *** This is my 101 Yelp review overall. 55 reviews for 2018. The cauliflower needed to be cooked more or if it had been bite size pieces it would've mostly worked. It was hard to eat without getting a huge piece of cauliflower that since being par cooked you get the large piece as a whole. The sauce just seems to be a lotta hot sauce poured over not baked into the cauliflower. No layering of flavs. Anyway it was a clear miss for me. Surprising since most things are delish. This hidden gem is located in the heart of lakewood. Me and my friend were looking to eat out and wanted a variety of healthy choices. We decided to stop in this restaurant that was fairly close to her apartment. They have a bunch of healthy food choices for Vegans, vegetarians, and ETC. It's attached to some sort of mini market that sells countless items from cleaning products too healthy food options and ETC. me and my friend were on a time Schedule though and strictly ordered food. We sat down and ate at a high chair table next to the glass windows and it was quite nice. The cleanliness of the store was awesome, the workers were friendly as well. I checked in this restaurant and they offer you a free beverage from their beverage section. I received a apple cider/ginger/lemon detox drink that originally cost ($7.99) so that was a win. The food itself was OK. My south western wrap didn't really give me the taste i was looking for so i requested a dressing on the side to make it taste a little better. Drove 30 minutes for breakfast. I'm a Pescatarian, so always appreciate an inclusive menu. Food 5/5: The food and drinks were delicious, well portioned, filling, and fairly priced. My partners comments on the Breakfast Burrito was "the best $6 burrito I ever had". My BEAST Sammy with a +$1 beyond sausage substitute on sourdough bread had crisp, fresh spinach and everything meshed really well. The Winter Detox and Oasis smoothies were great. The cappuccino was a tad too milky, prefer a more espresso forward drink. Ambiance 5/5: I enjoyed the market and goods. It was nice to wander around and peruse while the food was prepared. Nice selection of local and brand name snacks, house goods, crafts, frozen meals, and alcoholic beverages. Everything ceramic travel mugs to CBD infused seltzer. Unlike the food though, these items are highly priced. Seating 1/5: Because so much of this space is dedicated to the market and food preparation area, there is very limited seating. Of the 3 tables and window-front bar style seating, the majority of seats were occupied by customers with finished coffees and laptops. Picture this: a man sitting alone at a four person table with a small coffee working on his computer. I'm in graduate school and I get it but up to a point. As we waited for our food, we watched as multiple customers who ordered full meals ask for a to go bag after patiently waiting for a seat to open. We too feel fell, carrying our meal out to enjoy in the car. This isn't Starbucks - you're serving full, hot meal. Nor is this Root Cafe where there is enough seating to allow for diners and laptop squatters to mingle. Some shops have specific seating for teleworkers. Other limit their hours to people on laptops. Ultimately it's up to the business to keep tables open. It seems Nature's Oasis abide by a strict "come first, stay as long as you want" policy. Went in for a post workout healthy meal and was extremely satisfied with my experience (as always)! All of their specials looked so yummy! Great healthy food and smoothie options. Their little market carries a very nice variety of natural, local food, & market products; so, I'm always leaving with something exciting to try! My friend got the teriyaki rice bowl on special which looked SO good & I got the veri veggie salad add tempeh! Their tempeh was delicious I accompanied my meal with the jasmine tea which was perfect for a chilly Monday in Cleveland! What a cool spot! I was in the neighborhood and wanted a quick, healthy bite. I'm not vegan or vegetarian, but I've always been curious about this spot. In addition to being a cool cafe with drinks and lunch fare (like wraps, salads, etc.), they have a small market carrying organic and local products. I purchased a bottle of Rust Belt Rose from CLE Urban Winery and lotion from the Earth Philosophy apothecary. The selection in the market is random and awesome - I could blow a ton of money here. The produce and frozen sections are more limited, but I would totally return here to stock up on healthy pantry staples, cleaning supplies and personal items. The market flows into the cafe. I decided to stay and people watch in the window and ordered the lemonade and Southwest Chipotle wrap. The ingredients were healthy and hearty in the wrap. It didn't have the flavor I was hoping for, so I did end up putting hot sauce on it from their condiments counter. The lemonade was fresh and delicious and the lunch totally satisfied my appetite. The tea is excellent and the service is even better! I ordered the unsweetened pomegranate iced white tea and the flavor is light and crisp. It leaves a fruity, refreshing flavor in your mouth so if you want that, do it. I also purchased these reusable facial rounds to replace my cotton pads for makeup removal, which will not only have a positive impact on the environment, but also my wallet. There are so many wonderful souvenir gift ideas in this shop for my friends and family! The Cleveland candle company's candles are epic to say the least (no really, smell them) and the cognitive surplus mugs are too clever. The mug that was my personal favorite reads "Science is magic that works"! But I'm not gonna lie. The real reason I gave this place five stars is because the staff saved my fancy west side market cheese. They gave me a bag of ice to keep it chilled so that I could keep it edible for when I got back to my Airbnb. That's right, the Cleveland tourist that I am bought cheese knowing damn well I was going to be out all day and too full of crepes and shepherd pie to eat it anytime soon. Another great spot in Lakewood! Came here for breakfast and got their classic sandwich on a rosemary bagel and a coffee. They use rising star coffee so you know it's good, and I tried some of the Serrano hot sauce from a small Texas company they had available. Everything hit the spot! My friend got a breakfast sandwich on honey wheat bread with tofu. Great spot for vegetarians/vegans. Very accommodating and from what she said tasty! This really is a cool spot. They have a shop on one side and the counter where you order on the other. The shop has lots of local and organic things including candles, sauces, chips, soaps, etc. There needs to be more places like this that support local/small organic businesses. read more

The fruit infused courtesy water is a nice touch. Coffee is good. Smoothies are better. The mandarin ginger salad dressing blew my mom's mind. They serve breakfast all day and have Bialys bagels! Especially on July 11th at 8:15pm (right before closing which is always a big risk for awesome customer service for any business but especially small business) I purchased from the market Mike's Maple Syrup(INCREDIBLE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND I will probably purchase two bottles at a time it was so good), Follow your Heart Vegan Ranch(this was okay... too much ACV taste), JUST vegan egg( YUMMY) , WINK vegan ice cream (gross...), Violife Vegan Feta (SHOCKINGLY ACCURATE FETA FLAVOR and I'm GREEK so I would know something about good feta. definitely recommend trying this out). In a previous purchases I purchased a vegan lemon poppyseed cookie made by Alternative Baking when I got home and opened it up to enjoy it I noticed that it was very stale. When I mentioned it on this visit Emily on register took it off my bill for me with out me even requesting compensation!! Extremely impressive customer service!
