Service is decent. Orders normally mediocre at best. First of all the store is typically empty and what you get is always rushed. I am a very frequent Einstein shopper as my daughter loves the plain bagels and I enjoy the pizza bagel and Lox bagels. The pizza bagel I got today was a 1. Cheese barely melted and pepperoni just placed on top, like it was a last minute idea. I keep coming back, because this is the only one close to my Job. I think today was it. I will stick to my stores in Broward where the food is made with love and never rushed to the point where it looks and tastes like no one cares. Been wanting to try this place for so long and finally got to try them during our trip in Miami. The hype is real!!! Their bagels are sooooo darn good. Our order - Jalapeno cheddar bagel with jalapeno salsa smear. Green chile bagel with egg and cheese. Six cheese bagel with jalapeno salsa smear. The bagels were perfectly toasted and tasted fresh and crispy. We initially got only two bagels but couldn't resist ourselves getting another one (the six cheese bagel). I've been back several times since my last review and they've been doing better, but some times the bagel seems to be under heated by the time you walk from the counter to the table to eat it. They have the best coffee; vanilla hazelnut, but it's always luke warm at best as the coffee vats don't really keep the coffee warn. We went to this shop for breakfast twice during our visit to South Beach. It was what was expected. This location is similar to other Einstein locations that I have visited over the years. The store was clean, and the staff was friendly and efficient. They offer a decent selection of bagels. For breakfast, I prefer cinnamon raison or blueberry bagels. I had one of these on my visits. I like the them toasted with strawberry cream cheese. Customers order at the counter and are called when their orders are ready. I enjoyed the bagels. read more

I placed an order 5 days ago and they did not deliver, the driver himself told me the manager never prepared and this was a common occurrence at this location. When I came in to request a refund the general manager was not only dismissive but gave me someone's personal number to call "to talk to about my refund". Any food place, of course, is about the food - but the people behind the counter really make such a difference as to your overall experience. I really love the team at Einsteins in Miami Beach - without even trying, they create a fun, welcoming vibe that makes you always happy to return. They remember details of everyone's preference (not an easy thing to do in south beach!), they will always go the extra mile, and they are even happy to bring the food to your table, even that it's not their responsibility to do so. I'd say it's the very definition of a really great neighborhood coffee and breakfast joint. read more

Really not that great. I ordered an 'All Nighter' and asked them to put it on a jalapeño bacon bagel. They did not put it on the jalapeño bacon bagel but we were late and I did not want to go back in and waste more time. The cheese bagel was ok and not toasted. The egg on the sandwich had no flavor and there was little to no aioli. The worst part was the slices of cheese were cold. My husband got the hash browns and he did not like it. To me it looked undercooked and he ordered two but did not even finish one. Oh, and the OJ, the presentation leads one to believe it is fresh squeezed? Maybe it is? But it was watered down with no pulp. We would have been better off with the 'Florida's Natural' OJ that was also in the case for sale. The only thing we kind of enjoyed was the coffee. Ordered delivery from this location two days prior to when we needed it for a Team Breakfast. The surprising facts when you order a dozen it isn't a bakers dozen so since I ordered four dozen we got 48 bagels not 52. Don't just get assorted assuming you will get normal flavors or best sellers just ones they want to get rid of. My initial order of assorted once they listed the varieties I had to call to change the order. They do pre-slice though the bagel I had was sliced more 90% to 10% not 50/50 as expected. The half gallons of orange juice for $10.19 for a half gallon expectations were fresh squeezed not from concentrate which tasted awful,also they forgot the ice. Unfortunately I had ordered four. the total that includes spreads as they call it smear came to $128. Next time I will definitely try some place else perhaps Panera instead. Maybe Brooklyn Water Bagels will come to Downtown/ South Beach. read more

Unfortunately I moved my 5 to a 2. They got all new staff. Twice this week I waited to order for over 6 minutes without being acknowledged. The first time I left. The second time someone helped me and continued talking to a coworker while I was ordering. I had to repeat it 3 times. He also didn't know which cup was a large. I used to walk in here and they were all friendly and knew my name. Now I'm late for work because I wanted a "quick bite". It's unfortunate how bad it's become. read more

The only friendly person working in this place is the older gentleman who works at the counter. Even though he got my drink order wrong ..... as well as my food order, he remained friendly and quickly corrected the mistake ...... the manager who was making the food (large bald man) was extremely cold and rude. I ordered a bagel NOT SLICED, just toasted, w shmeer on the side ........ he sliced my bagel, toasted it and put shmeer on it ...... I think that's how it was input on the screen so that's how he made it. When I told him the mistake he threw the bagel across the room to a trash can as if he were put out ...... I told him I wanted it toasted NOT SLICED w shmeer on the side ........ he grabbed another bagel from the bin, SLICED IT lol and stuck it in the toaster...... he was obviously frustrated ..... there were 5 people dining in and one other person at the counter ........ 2 orders on the sceeen ..... so it wasn't like he was under a tremendous amount of pressure... They sure acted like it, and as a person who grew up in the restaurant business, I would never put up with this from one of my managers or employees... Customer service is what it's all about and if you're in a bad mood, leave that shit at home. I will never go back. The first thing you want to see you in the morning when you go get your bagel and coffee is a grumpy jerk. I said please, and I said thank you and I got no response from him other than dirty looks... The avocado bagel combo is very tasty but I wish the avocado was a little bit more fresh as I did see that it was a bit brown, I did tell the manager about it and he said it's because they made it early in the morning.
