The employees are helpful and patient and a pleasure to speak with. This is one of those places you go to when you just want to relax a lot of people go there to work on their computers they have Wi-Fi. It's more of a very easy going relaxing pause in the day. Highly recommend if you're in the area Saturday mornings they have the farmers produce market there which takes up four blocks. It's still accessible but any other day parking is available right there on the street and there's plenty of it.

I have to find one like it in my area. Luckily, it's also a coffee shop so I usually get a coffee as well. If you've never been here, they're located in downtown Lakeland. Now on this particular visit wasn't too busy and I was able to order and get everything right away. The lady working the front was so sweet when I told her how much I love the carrot cake she got me a fresh slice of a new cake and it was so good!! The carrot cake by itself would be perfect but velvety cream cheese icing on top really brings it together. No on this visit I did get a nice latte as well. That was a little dark when it first came out, and she could tell by the look on my face that something wasn't right and she fixed it right away lol. I wish Mitchells was closer but it's definitely worth the drive.

Believed to be a "Scratch Kitchen", this amazing find has a menu that I find myself excited about returning to try. We ordered a drink and an order of the Frescos Egg Rolls. The drink was spot on and the Egg Rolls amazing. We opted not to order a main course due to eating just a couple hours prior but I knew right then and there that I'd be back to try other selections from the menu. Pricing seems to be below average with "happy hour" pricing at specified times daily. Highly Recommended!

The manager, Shane, came around to every table to chat and check in. The food was absolutely amazing. We got the house breakfast and a biscoff cinnamon roll. The house breakfast came out quick, and everything was cooked perfectly. The cinnamon roll was massive! We barely put a dent in it. The price for everything was really good as well. They have bottomless brunch if that is an interest. The menu was pretty big with a lot of unique options. This will definitely be a place we return to frequently. They have a great variety of flavors for the coffees and lattes. They also have a decent selection of sugar free options. There is a pretty big patio area; the bar is also a really good size. They have a variety of seating, so they can accommodate larger groups. It was easy to get in when we went on a Saturday at around 10, but by the time we left there was definitely a wait. They only have a set amount of the specialty homemade cinnamon rolls, so I'd go early if that's what you are craving.

The standout for me was the Holiday Ham breakfast sandwich, and it absolutely lived up to its name. Built on a flaky buttermilk biscuit, it layers a light, fluffy egg soufflé with thinly sliced ham, praline bacon that adds just the right touch of sweetness, and a cranberry orange jam that ties everything together with a bright, unexpected pop. Every bite tasted thoughtful and seasonal without being overcomplicated--comfort food elevated. I paired it with Jennie's Dolce seasonal espresso drink, and it was so good I immediately wanted another. Even more impressive? The second one tasted just as perfect as the first--a small detail that says a lot about their consistency and care behind the bar. The coffee shop ambience immediately stands out, with a relaxed yet polished vibe that makes it just as ideal for a casual morning as it is for catching up on work or meeting friends. Service was warm and efficient, and you can tell this place has become a staple in the downtown community. If you appreciate creative twists on classic breakfast favorites and expertly crafted coffee drinks, Black & Brew is well worth the stop. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

The Sweet Caroline is good. The bread was fresh. The ratio of meat to bread was good and the service is great. We also had a "child's cheeseburger" and fries. The child size is deceiving because it's full-size and plenty for an adult. I don't know how thick the patty would be for an adult hamburger but the patty was good on the child size burger. The bun was so good; it was buttered and grilled. Perfectly toasted! The store portion has plenty of authentic Italian products you can buy and take home. You can also buy some pre-made Italian dishes to take home and bake. Sad I didn't try this place earlier in my life but I'll be back! They also have a large variety of pre-made and freshly make cookies, cupcakes, cakes and Italian desserts to choose from.

While the counter person was very helpful, the food left much to be desired. First, the Italian sub is only available cold and lacked taste .. the cheese had zero flavor, there was no seasoning or herbs to speak of and the bread dry and bland as well. SUBWAY subs are much more tasty. The garden salad's Italian dressing consisted of too much vinegar, zero olive oil and absent any spices or herbs. Finally, the chocolate eclair was too rigid and the custard bland. Very sad because we had high hopes.
