I contacted Jennifer as a new investment property owner in search of a landlord homeowners policy…read more While I had educated myself as much as possible beforehand, Jennifer was extremely gracious with her time and answered every question I could think of without protest or complaint. As I was under a time crunch to get a policy in place, Jennifer worked to turn my request into a binding policy in less than 48 hours, at times working after hours and between clients to do so. Extremely professional, well-experienced, reachable whenever I had a question, friendly, and obviously quick and efficient, I would recommend Jennifer without reservation for anyone looking not just for a broker, but an actual advocate on their behalf.

She just supported me and made sh*t happen, all done with kindness and patience. I'm not even a big customer for her; she had next to nothing to gain by doing so and being so cool. I worked with Tamara to get my healthcare insurance, plus my dental and vision insurance. I referred my ex-wife to her to get healthcare insurance for her and our daughter. I'd trust Tamara with any person how needed help. If I ran a company she'd be one of the first people I'd try to hire. In short: rockstar. Total rockstar. Thanks Tamara!

If you are having issues with Covered California, or if you have any insurance questions and/or…read moreissues at all, look no further - - you've just found your superheroes of the insurance world. I spoke with Bonnie and I am still in disbelief about what she did for me in such a short phone conversation. She is truly wonderful. For months, I have been trying to navigate the woes of Covered California on my own. First, there was the whole subsidy qualification process. I tried to convey to them in multiple ways that last year's salary was irrelevant since what I'm earning now doesn't even come close. As a new professional trying to build a practice while doing consulting work on the side, my earnings are completely erratic. Finally, I managed to get approved for a subsidy (skipping lots of details here about the back and forth and the sudden and unexpected bill for 3x the price that I was originally approved for). Naturally, I chose the Anthem Platinum PPO plan because it looked just like the plan I had at my previous job. Then, I learned that there are virtually no providers who accept Covered California Anthem plans. I eventually had to go to the ER, and they wanted to admit me. I refused to be admitted because I had no one to take care of my diabetic dog at home. I asked for a prescription so that I could deal with my medical issue at home. They refused and gave me the following options : 1. Admittance to the hospital 2. I could go to Valley Medical or the Indian Health Center as they are the only known entities, says O'Connor, who will take my crappy (??) insurance. Shocking and really upsetting. If you Google Anthem and Covered CA, there are lots of news stories about this. It is a huge mess, and devastating to many. I made one quick phone call this afternoon. I expected nothing...I found a miracle! Bonnie is super sharp, practically encyclopedic in her knowledge about Covered California and insurance in general, exceedingly patient, and just wonderful all around. I appointed her as my agent in the system. A few clicks (and lots of patient waiting on her end as I slowly followed along), and everything is golden!! Problem solved. I'm completely in awe...

Over an extended period, missed deadlines, incomplete documentation, poor communication, and a lack of follow-through ended up costing my business thousands of dollars. It also appeared that he spent very limited time in the office, making it difficult to get timely responses or resolve issues when they arose. In my experience, personal matters also seemed to impact the overall performance and responsiveness of the agency. As a business owner, I expect an insurance agent to be proactive, organized, and dependable, especially when handling commercial insurance. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Marissa wasn't getting paid to do this and may have not received all of his investments but she absolutely did the right thing for him and I am grateful for all the free time and help she provided. Many people don't realize what a big deal this is until something unexpected happens and probate comes in and takes most your assets and it includes a long process no loved one should have to endure, especially when there is a substantial amount to lose. Marisa makes smart decisions with my investments and also meets with me a few times a year to review and recommend financial improvements. Bottom line is that she is one of the best in her field.
