Caesar has come a LONG way during the past few months. His fear aggression was getting to the point…read morewhere we weren't able to have male visitors to our home. We weren't able to take him out for walks. He had to go in the back door at the vet's office so he wouldn't attack the dogs in the waiting room. We were miserable. Caesar was miserable. He would crash into our windows trying to get outside to eat the landscapers. He would even snap at me when I tried to pull him away from our fence because he was growling and snarling at our neighbor. We tried a few trainers for him, but he just learned to do "parlor tricks" for treats. We were referred to a behavioral veterinarian. He was prescribed meds and they only made him a confused, drugged-up aggressive dog. We tossed the meds. I read a review on Facebook about Debra Nagler's work with aggressive dogs and dogs that didn't have success with previous trainers. We dropped Caesar off at Debra's facility and he stayed and trained with her for about 8 weeks. She transformed him. He is now a secure, well-trained HAPPY dog! He doesn't need treats to listen. He listens because he wants to. He listens because he feels secure and safe again. He walks calmly beside me on a loose leash. He automatically sits beside me when I stop walking. He walks by people on the street and ignores them. He doesn't foam at the mouth barking when someone rings the doorbell. Men can come in my house now! He ignores the landscapers. He trusts me to take care of him. Debra taught him to trust again. She made him feel safe and "trained" me too! He doesn't need drugs, large prong or shock collars. He just needed leadership. I can't thank Debra Nagler enough. I highly recommend her.

We couldn't take him on walks because he would lunge and bark at anything that moved - cars, bikes, birds, dogs, people, inanimate objects, the wind, etc. Having people over to our house was a nightmare because he would bark and nip, and he hated being left home alone. We started seeing Deb a few months ago and our life with Milo has improved drastically. He is calm when cars go by, can walk bravely past other people and animals, and met a new dog sitter very politely this evening. He's even willingly spending time in his crate! We've been able to see more of his sweet personality now that he isn't as fearful, and he's a calmer, happier dog overall. I highly recommend Deb, she has truly helped us build a stronger, more trusting relationship with our little guy :)
