Don't let the gas station facade fool you--this place is a hidden gem!…read more I stopped in for a quick meal and was pleasantly surprised. The food came out fast and fresh, and the outdoor seating area was a nice touch. With several picnic tables shaded by umbrellas, it was the perfect spot to enjoy a beautiful day. The chicken on a stick was fantastic--crispy, hot, and juicy, with that nostalgic "fair food" flavor you only find at a good carnival. For a fast-food stop, this was an excellent experience from start to finish.

Old fashioned gas station just how we like it, no paying at the pump or confusion with skimmers…read more Filled up with $20 to test out the gas. The clerk has broken English and told us to pull up to pump #3. But 3 had a bag on it. Whoever put up the stickers on the door is practicing hypocrity and contradictory. A large blue sticker says accepts EBT, followed with a handwritten EBT is down. Has several stickers promoting cigarettes, cigars, dip, but a gigantic R. J. Reynolds tobacco message that says, "It's not easy to quit". How can one quit with all that going on? Shaking my head. Mhmm. The area is tight, if you're at the pump behind 3, you'll be right at the door. It's perfect for y'all who don't like to walk. Haha. I'd give y'all on the update with the quality of gas later. We gotta vroom, vroom along. Nice to know Hunts Brothers pizza is still in business this time, a chicken bacon ranch. I've only had the cheesy bacon potato pizza by them and it was delicious. That had to be about 12 years ago. That flavor came and went. Great gas station in the area of the boonies. When in doubt fill yo car up or chance being stranded.

I recently visited Rapid Oil Change #5 in Brookhaven, MS for a routine oil change, and my…read moreexperience was disappointing. After my visit, I called back simply to get a better understanding of the service and the type of oil used. During that call, the manager, John, was immediately rude and dismissive. Before I could even finish explaining my concern, he said, "I'm not giving you a refund. Take your car somewhere else," and told me I could call corporate. At no point was I asking for a refund--I was just trying to understand what I was told about my vehicle. I was also told in-store that my car "requires premium oil," which is misleading. After reviewing my vehicle's manufacturer specifications, that is not an actual requirement--only the correct full synthetic oil type is needed. This made the interaction even more frustrating. Customer service matters just as much as the work being done. Being spoken to in a dismissive and defensive way, especially when asking a simple question, is unacceptable. I hope management or corporate takes this seriously and works on improving communication and professionalism. I would recommend others ask detailed questions upfront and ensure they are getting clear, accurate information before agreeing to services.
